Does anyone here know whether they do a standard disclosure or an enhanced disclosure?
Coz as per their website it states the standard one would take two weeks and the enhanced one upto 4 weeks0 -
Yeah you're right 37 seems way to small for London and it definitely wouldn't make sense telling more than 600 people they've been successful if they're only gonna hire around 5%. Saying that however i wouldn't put it past them, as they don't seem to apply much common sense.0

It is neither. It is a basic disclosure and comes from Disclosure Scotland.
Basic Disclosure does not show any spent convictions but shows unspent ones.
Standard Disclosure does show spent and unspent convictions and cautions.
Enhanced Disclosure shows spent and unspent convictions, cautions and also looks at certain other lists.
Disclosure Scotland aim to do basic and standard disclosures in 14 days. It can take longer especially where there are mistakes on your form. such as wrong drivers number or if someone has a similar name as you and many other such items. My first disclosure took over a month due to some of these items (Capita person filled in the form and made errors) but now they fly back as they know my details.0 -

I was told to cross the Basic on the disclosure form. Basic Disclosures shows if you have any unspent convictions.0 -
The way i understand it from the number they told me was required was over 600 across the London regions, this was an increase over the original 350.
The 37 that has been quoted is probably the first 'batch' to be posted, with other positions to follow in order. These 37 are probably pre-existing vacancies with everything in place.
I would say those others (38 onwards) will be placed in quick succession, in batches across the London region, but i am confident they require over 600.0 -

I've been reading around the forum espacially this thread and the other DWP one ever since I applied for the EO role in London. Thankfully I am through to the interview stage (have already passed the tests during a previous app) and was wondering if I could ask the resident experts for some advice.
I have been told the four competencies they will be assessing:
*Delivering a customer focussed service
*Building Capability
*Delivering a professional service
*Managing people and performance.
The thing I've gathered from reading around is that they always seem to be changing the questions every so often, so I would greatly appreciate it if someone whom has passed the EO interview to guide me in regards to the sort of questions asked.
Many thanks.Fivefootsix wrote: »Congratulations on getting to interview stage.
What helped me before my interview was going through this thread (took ages but was worth it) as lots of people have replied with interview questions that they were asked and so I noted down their questions. I then matched the questions with the competencies and then thought of answers accordingly.
Thank you for your reply fivefootsix. I have had a look through but it seems they slightly change the questions every so often, so I just wanted to know what their latest version was.

I sent an email to scotland disclosure yesterday and I have'nt heard anything yet.Well I guess its still early. But considering that e mails were replied at 10pm.I am starting to worry that may be DWP did not send it.
Is there a specific format as I just gave my name and date of birth and asked how long the checks would take..0 -
