this is the address i emailed: info.disclosure.scotland@bt.com
i got it from a few pages back on here.

Depending on who you speak to at Manpower they can be rude. I spoke again to some bloke this afternoon and he took my name and number to call me back and never did, didn't expect him to really after hearing the way he was speaking, hey ho they should be happy they have a job!

Hope you have some luck with emailing those guys.

I emailed them about half an hour ago and wasn't expecting a reply until Monday but just received a response. I found that weird as it's almost 10pm!

Nonetheless, I was told my form was recieved on the 16th November and it is currently with their 'vetting' team.

i received my "you've been successful" letter yesterday for RC62979 AO :), been waiting for it for some time and now i have to wait longer because they doing pre-recruitment checks (CRB, career chekcs etc). i have no idea how long this will take and whether i will be placed on a waiting-list. i know evryone goes through this process but has anyone received a confirmation of their start date and how long did this after their first letter.

I'm afraid it varies. CRB checks etc, can take any time between 2 -4 weeks. If you haven't heard anything about your checks after 2 weeks then phone up and make sure all is well because DWP have a habit of not contacting u if something is up. Once all checks are cleared you can get a start date a couple of weeks after or 5 months (or more) after. I received my success letter at the beg. of Sept and got the call middle of November, so over 2 months, and I wasn't on a waiting list.

Well, after receiving no post today i called again and basically stretched the truth and said i had my success letter could they give me my interview scores and position on the merit list.

He asked for my NI number and confirmed i was joint 1st with 2 others out of 650 i think.

He also gave me my scores for the competency based interview, i scored 36/36 ( i wanted to know how i scored here so i could tailor future EO interviews accordingly)

I have heard from Scotland about the CRB, the received it on the 6th and is currently at vetting stage and should be complete my middle of next week.

Just have to wait to hear from hiring manager now as the next step.....

It seems there has been a lot of 'fobbing' of for certain people and that was not on, just give us consistent answers and above all, truthful ones!

I wish everyone on this IRC good luck and best wishes.

Maybe some of us may end up working together, i personally am looking for a role in East London or Central!

Hi, I have just come across these thread and when I saw your post I had to register as I needed to ask you something.

I received my successful letter on Saturday for IRC62979 and I just called now to ask my position on the merit list. I was told by a lady that there is no merit list as of the moment. DWP are now doing checks and this could take up to 4 weeks and then we will all be positioned. She said as some might not 'pass' the checks it would be silly for them to put us in a waiting list order now hence why there is no mention of a waiting list on the letter.

Could you tell me what you asked in order to get your position and also, what number did you call? If there is a list I would certainly like to know where I am on it.

Thanks

I called 0191 2166956

I simply asked how i scored on the competency based interview and where did that put me on the merit list.

Because i scored maximum i am joint 1st, i can see what they mean if i have problems with the CRB it would knock me off the list.

So i suppose based on the tests and interview criteria, until anything negative comes back from Scotland my position shouldn't change.
• To all being successful with IRC interviews

What questions are they asking, what can we expect at the interview. Please could you post any ideas? Congratulations to all successful :)
• Congrats to all who received their success letters.!!!
Just a quick update on my situation.I got a call from DWP on Friday double checking my surname and was told that the details will be sent for checks.I rectified a small error on one of my references.
Received a successful letter on Saturday that was dated 18th Nov.It states that pre recruitment checks are being done and once these are completed, they can confirm whether or not they are able to offer a post.
There is no mention of a waiting list.
Out of curiosity picked up the phone but was given a different number to try.So will try calling tomorrow.
The letter also mentions abt contacting HMRC regarding career information.
