I called 0191 2166956
I simply asked how i scored on the competency based interview and where did that put me on the merit list.
Because i scored maximum i am joint 1st, i can see what they mean if i have problems with the CRB it would knock me off the list.
So i suppose based on the tests and interview criteria, until anything negative comes back from Scotland my position shouldn't change.
Did you receive the letter??0 -
Hello people,
I got my success letter this morning. They are now conducting pre-recruitment checks. So this is where the infamous waiting process begins.
@Miss Ray- the length of the contract for IRC 62979 is 18 months.
Congrats!!
A few people's contract have been shortened to 12 months.Let's hope they do not do the same for this IRC0 -

Hope some of you got some good news about the job today x
Sorry to hear abt you..I hope you are still trying and will do well in your next interview.0 -

It's great to hear about everyone's successes. I wish everyone all the best :T
I've been reading around the forum espacially this thread and the other DWP one ever since I applied for the EO role in London. Thankfully I am through to the interview stage (have already passed the tests during a previous app) and was wondering if I could ask the resident experts for some advice.
I have been told the four competencies they will be assessing:
*Delivering a customer focussed service
*Building Capability
*Delivering a professional service
*Managing people and performance.
The thing I've gathered from reading around is that they always seem to be changing the questions every so often, so I would greatly appreciate it if someone whom has passed the EO interview to guide me in regards to the sort of questions asked.
Many thanks.0 -

Congratulations on getting to interview stage.
What helped me before my interview was going through this thread (took ages but was worth it) as lots of people have replied with interview questions that they were asked and so I noted down their questions. I then matched the questions with the competencies and then thought of answers accordingly.
It helped quite a bit as at the end of it, I had a massive list of potential questions and so I was prepared in the interview.
My interview wasn't EO so can't really personally help you with the questions but if you take a look through this thread you will find lots.
Good luck and let us know how you get on.0 -
Hi, I received my successful letter yesterday for an AO post. I just called the number on the letter and was told I scored 22 out of 36 and am no. 400 and something on a merit list of 670 plus... So I am guessing that I am on a waiting list given that there are only 37 vacancies to fill in right now... What I don't understand is that the letter says that I have been successful but then it also says that they will contact me once the pre-recruitment checks are complete to confirm whether or not they will be able to offer me a post... Kind of confusing, isn't it? My concern is that I am so far down the list that all the vacancies will be filled in and that I will not get a job offer. I find the letter quite confusing and misleading. Any thoughts? Can somebody explain to me what is going on?
Many thanks!0
