  • Just out of curiosity those that are waiting for IRC 62979 where are you located in London. I'm from a previous IRC (61298) and kinda peed off that I was posted in my local district (my file was passed onto districts not local to me).

To the person wondering the administration is outsourced
  • I just had a look. I am awaiting irc 62979.

From reading a few of the posts on here I should be hearing news tomorrow or Saturday! Hooray!

I am from South West London by the way. I shall keep you all posted of my news; good or bad. :)

    Hi Siobhan.

    Hi Nadina1,
Congrats!!That was the quickest I guess.Keep us posted.

Thanks! I just hope everything else gets sorted as quickly.
Try and stay optimistic, by the looks of it everything is just a bit random, so don't take their tardiness as a bad sign.
Goodluck, i'll keep my fingers crossed for you!
  • I got my rejection letter today. My suspicions were right! I'm so angry that they have lied to me for the past 2 weeks, knowing that i had failed. Boo hoooo! Just needed to get that off my chest. Lol.

Hope some of you got some good news about the job today x
  • I am so sorry, don't be disheartened. There will be plenty of opportunities. I spoke to someone at DWP and was informed that I will receive a letter within 2 weeks. Fingers crossed it's good news!

Thanks. I have another interview with them in a few weeks so hopefully I will do better! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you :)
  • Hi guys, just thought i would register on here and give you my perspective.
I had my interview for IRC 62979 was on the 26th October, to this day i've not had any letters, but i have been calling Joanne one 0191 216 2488, she told me yesterday she had spoken to Amy Hemple who seems to be in charge or part of the team in charge of this IRC, and i was told the letters were sent out on Tuesday and to expect them this week. Me being me i didn't get anything today so i called Amy direct and she told me just now that the letters were only sent out yesterday.

I have a feeling they are just saying anything they like regarding the letters being sent out as people on here have already received good and bad news regarding the job.

Anyways if you want to call Amy she is on 0191 216 6631 :)

I live in Kennington. So that isn't too far away.

Post has come. Still no letter from dwp. Is being told no news is good news. Only I would like to know either way! Looks like I'm going to be back on the phone!

Yeah i agree with you, i would just like to know one way or the other. None of my personal references have been contacted so i'm not sure how to think about things. Saying that, what is meant to be will be :)
