Hi. update for those who went to this exercise.

I called them yesterday and was told that everyone should expect to get interview results within the next five working days.

I asked her if this was still for future vacancies as advertised and she said to the best of her knowledge there are vacancies and they should be filled in less than 6 weeks. No idea how many vacancies.

From what I saw at interview, there were not that many people (16 the day I went), the interviews were held over 3 days and I know the manpower lady tried to get me to change my interview day so as to fill the Wed and Thurs slots ( a maximum of 40 a day she said). So at the mos 96 people took part.

Anyhow, these people are so unpredictable so let's wait and see!!!

Have you heard back on yours yet? That is the same IRC number as mine.
  • I went to an EO interview the same week that you did and I was told that I would not hear for 4 to 6 weeks. We were told this by Manpower.

Now I am confused. I have just received a Compliments Slip from the DWP and the passport sized photo I had to take when I when I went for the tests in the post today. Does that mean that I haven't been successful in my application or do they just send the photo back once they have done what they need with the files?

they sent me a photo back from one of the interviews I was unsuccessful at, but this was about a month after I had the unsuccessful letter:confused:

How strange, as this is the only thing I have had from them after I went to my interview just over 3 weeks ago. I hope it doesn't mean I have been unsuccessful but I am starting to think I might have been :(

Hello people I know your trying your best with interview preparation im sure you'll get there. But remember if you dont pass first time vacancies are always coming up so you can try again. Be patient get feedback and make improvements to your answers th main thing is keep trying and you will succeed.

Anyway people I am wanting some advice I have started my role about over a week ago but I seem to be struggling due to my physical disability. I was wanting to speak to my manager so he can put me into another role but I havent had the opportunity yet. So I was wondering is this a good idea? Will ma manager be understanding and allow me to carry out another job which I will be able to do more easily? Im a bit scared to talk to him as he might ask me to just carry on with my current role and say nothing can be done about it or it might put me in his bad books. But if I carry on with my current role I wont be able to perform to the correct level due to my disability. Im really confused.

What role are you doing and what makes it difficult? If there are genuine difficulties they will do their best to accommodate you, they don't have a lot of choice really.
