  • Thanks jessbob, at least I will be straight in for the interview having passed the literacy and numeracy tests at a previous interview.Just got to find the Literacy and Numeracy Certification paper so I can prove I have passed the tests. Now where did I put it

OMG - get searching:rotfl: Wouldnt want you going through those tests again ! They may be pretty simple, but the panic and the time factors are HORRENDOUS:rotfl:

I have a Job interview at DWP for A/O post on Monday. The problem is im so c**p with inteviews as it is. I have the preparation for interview paper and I just want to cry. I don't know where to start with these questions they will be asking. Its giving me a bad head trying to think how do answer them. Any help would be most appreciated.

    Hello pk57,

I think you should go back to the main forum page and look at the thread three below yours.
    Titled, DWP employment waiting list.

It is beyond me how they can still be conducting interviews.

Have you heard back on yours yet? That is the same IRC number as mine.

when i attended my assessment day there was nearly 300 people there, the same the day before.

Thanks, I will have a look. It is quite worrying reading that as it seems that there are no jobs anyway!

Still not had any letter in the post yet, all I have had is my passport sized photo back, which I guess means I haven't been successful.
  • Still nothing back from the DWP, and I am now starting to lose all faith that I will actually hear anything at all. I have also been ringing the 0191 2166549 number but no-one EVER answers. I am totally fed up.

You are probably better emailing them. I emailed on Saturday and had a response this morning

Which email address did you use? I've been looking for one but can't find one anywhere!

    Thanks! :D

    EDIT:

Nothing showing, just sent you a PM.
  • My interview on Sunday went really well, was very pleased with it, should hear back in the next week or so!

But I also had another call this morning, regarding the Birkenhead Benefit Delivery Centre vacancy. She said they were just waiting on the checks to come through and in the meanwhile wanted to ask me a few questions - such as am I available to start immediately, do I have any holidays booked, am I still interested, etc. Sounded very positive, so fingers crossed :j
