Still awaiting my cancellation it really is a big pain and I can't see why some people get and some people don't!! I hope customer services do let you have your slot back destiny33.
If this all goes pear shaped I think Tesco will have made a big problem for themselves to be honest!0 -
Not had a call here yet either but have just checked dates at my store and all the 22nd and 23rd slots are gone already so won't be happy if they do cancel “You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0

i got an invite I 1st booked my slot on Tuesday for the 21st the next day I changed it to the 22nd and then today I changed it to the 23rd
I shop weekly online and spend between 70 and 100 every week I also shop instore and probably spend another 20-30 not sure how they picked the special peoplebut I am quite happy to be one lol closest I got last year was the 20th
if I hadnt got the invite and I had cheated and got caught I would not be griping about it, you cheat, you get found out, you lose. The same with any glitch we find on any website
But I do agree their methods for chosing the select few leave a lot to be desired was there a method or did they just pick the names from a hat?
I don't think people are griping because the cheat didn't work - Tescos can do what they like to their customers - the issue is that people are not being treated fairly in being allowed access to the Christmas slots! I have just booked my Christmas groceries with Waitrose. I won't always shop with them, but I will not go back to Mr T.0 -
Ok, I am able to prebook an xmas slot.
It also gave me a free box of mince pies but I'd have preferred the chocolate!
But anyway, now I have booked it, how long will they hold it for, without an order, or do I have to order now?
I can't get my head round the xmas shop just yet!0 -
I really wouldn't bother, last year we booked two days before xmas and pretty much most of the stuff I ordered was out of stock - even no sprouts!!!!Best Threads -

I had my call today, gutted. I do a shop every 2 weeks, and struggled the last 2 years in getting a xmas slot. looks like I might try elsewhere. :-(0

Yes that was my other thought!
I booked for between 9am and 11am on the Monday as I thought there may be a better chance of things being in stock at that time! And if they weren't, I'll still have chance to pop out and get whatever it is, if it's essential.0 -
Just booked my Waitrose slot for 22nd. I bet you can guess what my password is!0

Just had my order cancelled:mad: . I've shopped nearly every week on-line for over 10 years with them. She told me she didn't know why I didn't qualify
. Told them thats fine new Asda is just down the road. They told me they had cancelled 10,000 orders over the last couple of days, I'll bet the other supermarkets are laughing!!:D
