Sorry, I know this is a tesco thread, but does anyone know if Asda do the same kind of thing? I would love to skip the mad rushes if possible. Thanks.

Asda are due out anyday but ive been told that unlike Tesco they are released to everyone at once and at Midday on the day of release

Well have just had a quick look and can see only ONE slot left at my store! Am so cross to think we would have waited up till midnight to grab a slot that wasn't even available. Have bunged some stuff in the basket and checked out. Hopefully I will be in tomorrow when Mr. T rings and can tell them what I think of it. What a stupid idea - glad they can afford to throw away their customer base.....thanks to original op for the heads up.

i got an invite I 1st booked my slot on Tuesday for the 21st the next day I changed it to the 22nd and then today I changed it to the 23rd

I shop weekly online and spend between 70 and 100 every week I also shop instore and probably spend another 20-30 not sure how they picked the special people but I am quite happy to be one lol closest I got last year was the 20th

if I hadnt got the invite and I had cheated and got caught I would not be griping about it, you cheat, you get found out, you lose. The same with any glitch we find on any website
But I do agree their methods for chosing the select few leave a lot to be desired was there a method or did they just pick the names from a hat?

I am fed up with Tesco over this (and the fact there have been few money off codes for them lately)so have booked a Tues 23rd delivery with Waitrose (don't usually shop with them but had a tenner off and thought what the hell- It's Chrimbo!!!)
So if you have one near you and are willing to pay a bit more ( I will buy all my basics in Lidl the week before .....go book your slot and put your money in the pocket of a supermarket with decent customer service and better morals!
