Yes they do.........well according to my delivery driver this morning, he did also say to book as early as poss as last year some people went without their turkey as they had sold out, I now wonder if it's worth the worry I think I will go to a 24hr supermarket at 2am to do my shopping instead.Illegitimi non carborundum.0

I've emailed Terry Leahy the CEO!
I tried to use a code by the way, but it wouldn't let me. I ordered anyway, glad I did it when I did, everyone seems to have the same idea :-)0 -
Just an idle thought, I wonder how it would be if lots of customers DID book slots for as late as possible in Christmas week - and then cancelled them at the very last minute?
It would obviously be sensible to print the page that gives the last date and time by which you could ammend the order.0 -

you mean, we all stay up and grab the delivery slots, then cancel them the day before?

Can you let me know the email address please?
I've spoken to the duty manager at my local Tesco (where the deliveries come from) and they were not aware of what was going on but said that it would all have been decided at head office. I'm expecting a phone call from the "dot.com" manager at the store tomorrow, not that they will be able to do very much but I'm trying to keep up the pressure on them in any way I can. Am still so cross about this!
I wonder how they would feel if all the disgruntled shoppers turned up at the stores at a given time tomorrow to complain in person!0 -

I don't think there are going to be very many slots left to be honest. It is a good idea though although last year, they did make the cut off date for amending/cancelling orders earlier than usual so beware.0 -
