It would obviously be sensible to print the page that gives the last date and time by which you could ammend the order.
I know what you are saying but I and I am sure there will be others like myself who want to actually have a delivery and would not appreciate all the slots being taken up by others who just intend to cancel.Money SPENDING Expert0 -
With all this going on there is no way i'm relying on tesco to bring me my turkey/duck or goose. I'll place an order somewhere with one of the other supermarkets and order my bird in from the butchers. I'm really cross about this whole thing. There is no fairness and no regularity with the rules. The 3am shop is beginning to temp me.............0

hi
would like to apologise, for posting this, i only wanted to help, i genuinely thought it was for everyone, i had to edit the original post so many times, i only glanced at the card i got from tescos, and at the dates. i did not see priority customer (or whatever ).
once again very sorry for stirring up a real hornets nest.
i doubt tescos will try this again next year.

Have just booked a Sainsburys order for Sat 20 Dec all slots were available, so might be worth trying them. I might see if they have the Sunday slots available at midnight tonight.0

Nilrs, it is not your fault!!! no one here will blame you you were only trying to help

Its such a !!!! up, isnt it? Another forum i am on discovered that if you
go to the last page of slots, then in the address bar change where it says week=2 to either a 3 or 4 and it'll take you to the xmas ones.
Lots of the folks on that forum were doing that and booking slots so the combination of the code, and that has royally messed the system up.
Sorry for all of you who want a slot and there aren't any though, its a pain xxCogito ergo sum. Google it you lazy sod !!0 -
The Op's store "reopens" on Monday as an Extra after an eight month refit.
Possibly a local promotion after the disruption this will have inevitably caused.Who or what was I before you came in to my life
I am not sure0 -

I'm not advocating that anyone give their business back to Tesco after the way they have behaved, but in the event you do have to shop with them for any reason and have had your order cancelled (and basket emptied) here's how to quickly get it back.
When you were sent your order confirmation you will have been given a list of items the order contained. Copy and paste the entire list into Microsoft Excel, or whichever spreadsheet package you have (if you have none, docs.google.com); then copy the column which has the product names. Go back to the Tesco site and paste that list into their Express Shopper box and click 'find'. All the items will be recognised and you can then go back through and add them to your basket ready for your next delivery - it's a pain if you have ordered multiple items, so I'd advise sorting them by volume before you do this, but at least you don't have to search for each item individually.
This may also work with other shopping sites of course!!0
