More expenses in for DH (get the idea that if he claimed them promptly he might not have CC debt?! )

Another £2k paid (and a little bit - but shall have to wait until stmt for exact figure) - meaning Virgin CC now cleared and Tesco reducing :j

    Total to date: £4635/ £15000 :D

Shall hopefully persuade him over Xmas hols to do the paperwork to get expenses up to date (sadly not a large figure left to claim but if it goes on his CC then his interest will go down)

However, because he's not being made redundant we now need to get finance for our loft conversion (happening in Feb - eek!!)

Money comes in.....money goes out ---- c'est la vie!!

  • Puzzled - You have made me feel very proud of my sig, i'm never usually orgainised at all, so thankyou :j
  • Just tried to pay 66p to my credit card as that is the odd pennies I have left in my account (I think this is the lowest I have ever tried to pay) but the minimum is £1 so I haven't done it incase I need the extra pound before next month, really annoyed!
  • Made my loan payment the other day, have updated my signature and am delighted to have paid over £1000 off so far. Am still finding it tricky managing all our money cos me and h get paid at different times of the month but am slowly getting there, just need to change all my dds over to our new account as well and it should make things easier. Have also just used the snowball calculator again, I worked out paying the normal pymts plus just a little extra on everything we would be df in Nov 2012 and this has now changed to July 2012, so hoping to bring it even closer during 2009.

  • Hi,

I just regestered last week having had my LBM and approx. £35K to clear and this will be an excellent chalange to put a dent in this, especially as I have my first child on the way in March.

I'm in the process of working up an SOA and will post for feedback. I have to say that this forum fills me full of encouragement.

Please add me to the list.

    Regards,

    Jonathan :T

    Morning all,

£30 towards MBNA this morning. Always pleasing to pay some of them off - hate them.

  • Well done Hobsch - I hate MBNA too! Every penny we pay back to them means less money they are earning!
