  • Hiya

I was updating some of my totals on my snowball (not signature yet cos I'm still waiting for a statement or 2) and my DFD was reduced by about 4 months which now makes it September 2019

I am now more determined than ever to do this challenge. I just need a job first and then I'm going to put my all into this challenge. I really want to be debt free by the time I'm 25 which is 2 years and 1 month. Oh less than a month til my bday already. Where has this year gone?

I hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Right off to do the free daily scratchcards.

morning all, morning mich!! i have to say i empathise with the desire to make payments, I have to say i am getting slightly obsessive about it!! I keep looking to see if i have a spare tenner anywhere in my accounts that i can make the call in the morning and pay off another tenner.... I have just popped 2 £2 coins in my money box (I have a halifax save for it box where all the money drops into different compartments depending on what kind of coin it is :D I know its childish but i had one when i was about 6 and I managed to blag one off the lady in halifax and i play with it for hours in a blissful haze of childhood regression!!!) ho hum *pania runs away from the men in white jackets!!*
Until recently with my halifax credit card i have been paying £26 a month. The overpayments i have made this month are in excess of a months payment so knocking that extra month off is a real motivator!!
Just be careful people that you don't get to obsessed.. pay too much and then end up leaving yourselves short for pennies and essentials.
so I currently have... £9 something in money box
    £20 coming back from scratchcards
    £5.82 coming from amazon...
So in a few days time i can pay to halifax £34.82 as an overpayment, that on top of my normal months payments of £41 means halifax will be dropping £75.82 over the next few days !! woooooo tiddly hooooo!!!!!
debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!

well today i managed to save us £120 over the year by switching from bt to sky! im going to get better internet allowances all the extra chanels and free phone calls 24/7 and its cheaper than bt. so i'm adding that to the challenge. also no longer need to pay nursery fees for my little boy as hes funded from january so i have that to add to the challenge no as well.still need to update signiture for all the other bits ive paid of, but will get round to that in a minute, but so far very happy.

goals for te new year are to change the last credit card to interest free and to try and make some more savings.
hope everyone has a good chritmas and we all manage to make our targets. merry christmas and happy new year everyone
back to comping in 2017, fingers crossed
