    Happy Christmas Eve Everyone,

Finally I have something to report - £214.59 off my Cahoot Loan today, just the normal monthly payment unfortunately but it's a step in the right direction.

I think I'll just update my sig once a month to allow for the interest going on detracting from my payments.

Hope you've all finished your shopping!

    merry christmas roomies!!!

just thought I would drop in and see how everyone is doing.
cheque has finally arrived this morning from the uni for reimbursement of my fees so thats £1075! yay. unfortuently it wont get put in now until after christmas.
I got paid this week and for the first time I have sat down and done a proper budget. Dont get me wrong - I have been imbracing the MSE way all year and have paid off nearly 13k but it could have been so much more. when I look back through my statements and see what I have wasted! god its embarasing!!!
so, with budget set, I should be paying just short of 3k of my debts this month!!! granted it is including the cheque, ISA money and normal repayments but still!!!
I cant believe how motivated I am this year. cant wait to see those totals fall.

am enjoying a day off today because am working 12hrs tomorrow and 12 hrs boxing day. people dont stop being sick just coz its christmas unfortuently!
    have a good one everyone

    2009?? - bring it on!!! :D
  • well done jennyred - go for it! Lots of people having a wake up call at the mo...managed to flog some chutney and jewellry with an order for more today which is good and they will go off the cc's next week as wih the contents of the £2 pig which ony has a few quid in but will use that and then tape him up again. Am also going to use cash for food shopping again as it concentrates my mind and the grocery budget is one of my weak areas - as is books and mags so both are now banned! Time to "pull my socks up" and debt bust with a vengence - fed up of handing interest over all the time!! So happy Christmas all - heres to a frugal but happy 2009!
