  • £1540.10 for December from me :j
  • Am waiting for Jan 2nd to go by before I make my payments as otherwise I will get confused (not too clever, see)

Mind you, payments will be nothing to write home about this month as I foolishly booked a pricey holiday and need to use my extra payments to clear that. Roll on the end of January.
£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)
    Sealed Pot #389 (2010=£133)
  • Hiya, my current total paid is in my sig at the bottom, but I have just had to add to the debt to buy a new oven as mine blew up on Boxing Day, I don't have to deduct that do I?
Aug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £0
  • :o:o So far have paid off 476.62 edited actually its 504.62 forgot I paid CC twice in December.

Not as much as I would like.

I really need to sort out the myriad of bank accounts I have.

    its ridiculous.

I probably have much more money then I realise.

P.s I can't update my sig, as the egg website is down (amazingly tho you can still apply for a card how nice!!!)
    Nevertheless she persisted.

Personally I would add the new debt back on, but it is up to you how you want to do it! The way I am doing it is showing how much my debt has reduced by each month, so if I spend on it during the month, I have to take that into account.

But others will be doing it different ways, so you choose what suits you!

  • I am counting what I pay rather than the level the balance reduces (although I can guesstimate that at the end) so if i put anything on a credit card then I don't count what I then pay off of it (I only have one credit card for spending so I can get the additional protection for expensive items)

The only payments I count are those from the debts listed in my sig (anything else isn't a debt for more than a month but clearing those other bits each month (overdraft and credit card) aren't included in my totting up for this or any other challenge)

    ETA: congrats Mel
