Judging by the progress in December, 2009 really will be a debtbusting one!

I've paid £278.96 off my debts this month. Not as much as I hoped but with not having a job or anything I doubt I will be paying much until I get a job. And the debts will be rising due to no money to pay the debts i.e management charges, mortgage arrears etc.

I got a letter on xmas eve saying that I wasn't entitled to Jobseekers!!!! Not quite sure why cos I've paid tax and ni since I was 16 so going to give then a ring on monday to find out whats going on.

I hope everyone had a good xmas.

  • Total I have paid in December is £1336.02.
Not too bad, think I will have to look into scratch cards for January as this will be a difficult month for me.
Hope you sort things out Madmitch.

I'm fascinated by some of these totals - some people have paid off more than I actually earn in a month, how are you doing it?! I earn more than the national average too! Admittedly my mortgage is crippling. Imagine how much money you're going to have to play with when you've paid off all your debts!
