    Paying down the mortgage:
    At 1 October 2011: £226,000
    Currently: £224,499
    Aim: 85% LTV (£212,500)
    Paid £1,500
    Target remaining: 88.89%

    I made it! Paid £900 to debt today and I've now paid back over 20K this year! I feel pretty good. Ok, large chunk of it is down to getting made redundant but hopefully (fingers crossed) I'll get something soon :o

    Payment of £672 made to Citicard today - trying to pay off this card in full this month. Need another £2,072 to do this!

    Total now for this year to 2nd Nov is £33587 capital paid off :j However, DH finishes work on Fri - 2nd redundancy in 6 months, so no payoff :( and no job on the horizon - means our only money coming in will be jsa (64.30 or whatever it is) and child benefit :( Xmas could be interesting...

    Ho hum - I'm hoping 2010 will be a better year for us - as a family we've had a lousy 2009 (birth of DS3 being the exception!!:D)
