We're going to spend a bit of the extra money we earnt this month on going away for a night for our fifth anniversary. We never do anything flash; for the past five years we've always been trying to save money and we thought it was time to treat ourselves. Five years - well, we outlasted Jordan and Peter anyway! So the point of this is just to fess up and say a few hail marys and be absolved.... not all our free money will go on debt this month.
Te absolvo, anyone?
Happy anniversary!

Congratulations all, Sarah that looks very nice. Can I come? I promise to wear ear muffs so I don't hear your anniversary celebrations too much (sorry!).....
I've had a bit of a result today. I sent a letter to Capital One requesting they repay me £124.00 worth of charges, and they have sent one back asking me to accept their offer of £252.00?!! Who am I to argue?! Should get it within 14 days, as long as they don't go on a maths course and work it out properly in the time it takes!0 -

I think we all need a treat once in a while - otherwise life becomes drudgery(?word? - I'm sure you all know what I mean!!:rotfl:) Can also help to keep us focussed and not resentful.
Enjoy - I hope you have a wonderful time and lovely weather!
