I'm SO itching to pay off a big chunk - have well over £1,000 sitting in my savings that my lovely DH has earnt this month doing gigs on top of his day job... but not going to do it until pay day on the 15th so as not to leave myself short. It's going to be a really welcome boost though and will take me to pretty much halfway to target. Woop!

A loan payment has been made today, so after loads of interest, the capital has reduced by £215.......Another one is due out in a couple of days so I will have a little more to report then, but apart from that there is not much happening at my end!

  • Good morning everyone!

Hope you are all well and happy!

Just thought i would come online and give a quick update. I spent a bit to much at the weekend but it not to bad of a thing as i got paid on friday.

I am feeling really down about everything at the moment but i am trying not to think about things to much :( i am trying to be positive but it is really hard at the moment.

But on the plus side i am today able to pay of another £203 on my credit cards so with that on top of paying my overdraft off i am now down from £4500 to £3797. I also have £200 put away to pay other debts from overtime last month.

    :)

We're going to spend a bit of the extra money we earnt this month on going away for a night for our fifth anniversary. We never do anything flash; for the past five years we've always been trying to save money and we thought it was time to treat ourselves. Five years - well, we outlasted Jordan and Peter anyway! So the point of this is just to fess up and say a few hail marys and be absolved.... not all our free money will go on debt this month.

    Te absolvo, anyone?
