    Just had a call from my case officer @ payplan. everything is going fine, except mbna have rejected the offer. have been advised not to worry and the debt will probably be sold on to a debt collector, when this happens just to forward the letter to payplan and they will resend the soa to the collector.
    Am currently listening to better days by Bruce Springsteen- ironic. A friend is doing jury service at the moment (horrible kiddie fiddler case) and due to the snow the court has been cancelled today- we are going to go for a walk to a nearby pub in a moment (hope its open) and spend the day by the fire.
    My Dad has cancelled his visit tomorrow due to the weather, still hasn't passed his stone but says he is fine. I have my first weigh in tomorrow as well, actually not had a drink for over two weeks- makes me sound like I need to go to AA. I hope the snow hasn't caused too much disruption to anyone.

    2 weeks a go the weight was-15.5 stones (217lbs)- lets see what tomorrow brings ! (hangover )

    6lbs lost, nearly half a stone ! As you can imagine I am well happy. What will the next two weeks bring !
  • Good for you!! Maybe if the snow keeps on coming everyone will lose weight because theyre running out of food! I'm actually kinda hoping that will happen lol

    yay on the weight loss!

    Fantastic weight loss Jim :T Hope you had a good afternoon yesterday. I couldn't get to work because there were no buses in London so I spent the day relaxing - my first NSD of the year too. I fell asleep on the sofa at 12.30 and didn't wake up until 3 pm - bliss.

    nsd = no smoking day I guess. Congratulations. I had a lovely afternoon in several pubs and was home by 7pm (probably for the best). Had and early night and was asleep by 10.30. all the snow is gone today.

    Actually went to a pub where everyone was smoking inside with the landlord putting out ashtrays- I am not a smoker and have no opinions about those who do- everyone knows the risks and I'll spend your taxes thank you. My friend was over the moon and smoking for Britain, it was rather sentimental to be back in a pub as we all remember pubs and I must admit it had a very jolly, albeit smoky, atmosphere.

    NSD = No Spend Day.

    Re MBNA it might be worth asking for the CCa if this account is a few years old as a lot are inproperly documented. Protection against legal action.
