Room is rented! I don't know why I worry so much about this as I always get it sorted out. Rob is moving in at the weekend and will bring the full £800 so all bills will be up to date and I will be enjoying the Easter weekend. He is a local guy who is going through a separation and he wants his wife and her (not his) child to move back into the family home so he is doing the decent thing by moving out. I am impressed and this will probably be better than the original guy who was going to move in. Happier days....

Hooray. Like i said, Lucky Jim. It always falls into place. Now you can enjoy Friday. On Susan's thread a load of us are going to Newcastle.

Had my eyes scanned the other day took the whole day for pupils to return to normal. How do stoners cope with the sun? Hope your sugars are better than mine.

  • I'm afraid to say it is very true but she is a proper ten to two'er, a five pinter, a go ugly early etc etc.

I am really glad you got a lodger sorted but that quote is such a horrible thing to say about another person.

I appreciate that I now sound like a right stuck up cow however even stuck up cows are entitled to opinions!

    Nevertheless she persisted.

I agree, i am pretty ashamed of myself as i laughed originally. Sorry Buffy you are right and i apologise for my comments too. But humour is Jim's way of coping. He doesn't mean it. He is a nice person. He helped me when i was trolled and spammed so i know he has a heart of gold.

It's all meant in school boy humour.

I finally managed to pay my £555 maintenance bill today- only 29 days late, not too bad. All I have to do is clear the £250 to the racist pensioner and £100 to my dad and I am back up to date. I should be able to get a decent nights sleep at last.
Have just been lent all the episodes of Dexter on box set as I never caught it when it was first aired- wow, what brilliant tv. Cant wait till the end of the year for season six as I am hooked and already suffering withdrawal symptoms.
For nostalgia I have been listening to a lot of Pat Benatar this week- forgot how sassy she was.

Love is a Battlefield. Do you remember that as the music in the adverts before all the Brat Pack movies (like the Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink, St Elmo's Fire, Ferris Bueller's day off etc) on BBC2 in the late 80's and early 90's?

Well done on making payment. Hey I met George Uk!!!!

I was due to meet her in town at 3pm. At 11.30am I was in the garden with my alcoholic neighbours who had vowed not to drink until later that evening. By 12.04pm that went out the window and we got well stuck into the booze. At 3.30pm she called me up to find out where I was, by this time I could barely stand up so it will have to wait for another time.
Had a great day today in the garden with all the neighbours, everyone had a brilliant time and was in a great mood- made me proud to be British today and I don't mind admitting I shed a tear on three occasions whilst watching events today. Gives me hope that we wont f*ck up the Olympics next year.
