pretty awful, I am all over the place and getting fed up, I hardly do 2 or 3 out 6 tests a day now- so bored of it already. I've even done a couple of days not taking the medicine and it makes no difference at all.
Going out on Friday night to a comedy club to cheer my self up, have a drink and a proper meal am booked in with the clinic next week and I shall tell them that I am fed up.

Sorry to hear you sounding down in the dumps Jim. I expect someone will be along soon to tell you to keep taking the meds ;) so I shall desist - and I can well imagine you must be frustrated if it doesn't seem to be doing what it says on the box.
I know nowt about diabetes management, but I wonder whether it's one of those things where you have to find what works for you?
Have a great night out on Friday, and eat something yummy for me - I'm on a diet :(

In case you don't know some alcoholic drinks raise blood glucose while others make it fall. Make sure you really enjoy your night out and when your back at the clinic tell them how you feel and see if they can suggest anything to help you.

Hope you have a fab time tonight!

Jim, sounds like you need to sort out the diabetes!! You don't work offshore do you?

Do you have regular appointments with a diabetic nurse specialist/ GP with respect to your glucose control? I take it you are on tablets at the mo? It may be that they need to tweak your regime/ try something different. Go easy on the alcohol!

Go and enjoy yourself... remember, everything in moderation, even moderation!!

Friday night was brilliant. 4 comedians and they were all very good with Jarred Christmas headlining,(he's the kiwi from the pot noodle adverts),he was sooo funny-

I didn't heckle, just sat at the back and laughed and drank heartily. Went for tapas after which was very nice. Jo enjoyed it except for Mandy Knight -

Who she thought was abusive and very aggressive towards the audience, so she ticked all the right boxes for me! I will be going again, for £15 excellent value for money.
Back at the clinic on Thursday and I will tell them how rubbish I am feeling and that I am fed up. Woke up this morning at 4am, feel exhausted now.

Can you get yourself down to the clinic / doctor's any earlier as you're feeling bad?
