I'm sorry to hear about the cold & feeling fed up... glad it's no worse though.
Dose yourself up with vitamin C, take plenty of fluids etc. etc. - hope you feel better soon. :)

Are you feeling any better today? Did you contact the clinic?

Had a moan with the nurses and I am now on Repaglinide instead of Gliclazide. Hopefully this wont have the nasty side effects or the weight gain of Gliclazide. Still not diagnosed with a particular type of diabetes as my pancreas may be in a "honeymoon" period and may deteriorate further in a month or two time. I have received excellent care again and will be back in 3 weeks.

I hope your current medication will be better for you with less side effects. It usually takes a while to adjust to being a diabetic and to be prescribed the medication which agrees with you best. Have you still got a head cold? Did you monitor your blood glucose often since your medication was changed?

Another free weekend- and at last its a Grand Prix- can't wait for Sunday afternoon. My brakes have just failed on my car driving home, all the brake fluid has gone so I have carefully got it to Halfords and topped it up, hopefully this will last until I can get it back to the garage again. Geting pretty fed up of car bills now. Drove a Honda for 5 years and it never missed a beat. Bought a Vauxhall in September and so far it has cost me-
    Car £575- September
    alternator £165-November
    Brakes £135-February
    Mot £265-February
    brakes £75-March
    Today's problem £??? (£9.99 brake fluid)
I will never buy another European car again- they are !!!!!! compared to Japanese.
