You must have read my mind I was only looking at that last night and wondering if it was such a good idea.

As I buy my most of my presents through out the year at bargain prices I not sure if it work.

I only need a bit extra to buy food at the end of the year because we don't drink a lot and don't have any of many guests so just need to spend a lot.

    But a good idea.

I am an agent for a hamper company, although I only have orders for vouchers. I usually get about £50 or £60 comission at Xmas, which I put into savings.

My actual voucher order is about £300, out of which I buy my teenage daughters pressies-they never say what they want properly until Nov/DEC, and maybe my parents, food (Iceland) and we have a couple of nights out in December at Pizza Hut or similar. Usually I don't spend them all, and use the rest in the Jan sales (especially Boots) to buy birthday presents, and Xmas pressies for the next 12 months. As so much time has passed since paying for them, I come back from the sales, feeling I haven't actually spent any money (only vouchers) but got bags of good, cheap stuff, without opening my purse. Funny how your mind works!!!
