TMO are behind in submission of their annual accounts.

    I'm confused nytram91.
According to Companies House, TMO's Next Accounts are not due until 30/06/08.

  • Just to let readers know that within hours of my complaint being posted on this forum, TMO have been in touch to say that I will be getting CashBack within the next 5 days. They agreed with my arguments outlined above about the self contradictory clause in the T and C which were in force last March.

I have however still had to ask for clarification on making the final second part of the claim ... do they still want bills 11 and 12 (which only run up to the end of 11 months of connection) or bills 12 and 13 (which cover 12 months of connection) and ... with which bill should I submit my final claim slip?

I will post the answer here asap in order to help anyone else in the same situation.

Thanks to TMO for sorting this out

    Regards

    Hi everyone,
I'm another disgruntled Mobile Outlet customer. My father ordered a nokia 6280 on 12 months free basis from TMO, and we were initially quite impressed with their email response. And, considering the recent negative publicity e2save has been recieving, we actually came to trust TMO more and were even going order 2 more phones from them.

But come, the cashback claim period now after month 4 for newer customers, I personally sent the claim with the despatch note and all the original month 1-4 bills, by special delivery on the 27th Sept. I got a 'delivered' confirmation from royal mail on 28th sept and signed by some 'J.D.Button' or 'J.D.Bolton' (as shown on royal mail's site's electronic proof of delivery), And, as per their rules and regulations the claim takes almost 28days to get processed, so we waited and waited and are still waiting till today; today being the 33rd day.

My dad, even sent a few mails to a guy named adam@mobileoutlet.com - who initially acknowledged our claim, and the response he got is that, we've recieved ur claim and everythings fine and i've just forwarded ur thing to the cashback dept. I say just another stalling tactic.

Coz if ur running a business, deadlines should mean something to u; atleast stick to ur deadlines and deliver when u've promised something, we've been more than patient with TMO, and now my poor father just feels conned and who initally found TMO to be an organisation on whom we could rely on for our phone needs, but now is just completely weary of them. Now, we feel we've got no choice but to take the matter through to the small claims court.

I shall be sending TMO, a nice and good email today or tommorow regarding my claim and informing them of my small claims court proceedings.

Shall keep u guys updated of the progress.

    Regards.

  • Hello again ... TMO have confirmed that those of us planning to make two cashback claims (T & C from beginning of the year) should make the second claim by sending to them bills 11 and 12, each within 21 days of the bill date shown. So in my case I'll be submitting the 11th bill first, then the 12th bill which will arrive with me after just 11 months of network connection.

They have confirmed that I do not need to send my CashBack claim voucher. This is because not all customers received complete paperwork on delivery of their phones and in order that no one should be denied their claim, the voucher is being ignored.

Hope this is helpful to readers.

    Regards

    Hi everyone,

Just to give you an update, I've just recieved in the last 5minutes a letter in the post from TMO, informing me that my claim has been rejected and now they say i need to abide by their previous T&C, which is I need to claim my cashback by sending bills 1-6 and then 11th and 12th bills.

Well I'm a bit baffled by this , as i've got 2 confirmation emails from 2 TMO mail ids saying i should have sent bills 1-4 and now i get this letter today. A bit strange.

But anyhow, i'm a bit relieved that i'll be claiming back in just 2 stages rather than 5 stages under the new T&Cs.

And also, to above poster LizzyB, maybe u've got the same problem as mine of the cashback stages. Try calling them using their 01 number given in the beginning of this thread. Hang in there. Hope, it goes well for u.

I hope,my now new first claim - which is due in a weeks time goes through smoothly; fingers crossed.

    Shall keep u guys updated.

    Regards.

Funny you should say that, I just got a phone call from Joseph at the TMO. OK I have to send my bill in at 6 months, 11 months and 12 months. Because Orange sends me 1 bill for 2 phones and 1 phone is running a month behind, I have to send bill 7 for phone number 2 etc etc. Geezzzzzzzzzzzzz

Anyway I hope to see an email confirmation of this soon.
