Hi All!
Just a quick 'stick my nose in'!! Hope everyone is ok? Have been paid for my OT last week (the joys of weekly pay!) and it netted me an extra £98.75. I could do with that extra every week, but don't think I could stand working 63.5 hours all the time!! lol
For some reason - and I really don't know why yet, my A&L current account is looking rather healthy. Almost too healthy. Will sit and have a look at it tonight as I don't have my log in details on me! Do need to pay a bit off my CC and HSBC OD that I used (oops!)
If anyone would like to do me a little cheesey-quaver (favour), could someone please send me the link for the SOA as I would like to do a new one around the time of my 1st DRW anniversary but I can never find the link! :O)
Have a good weekend all!

Hi Nats guess who!!!!!
Firstly I always use http://www.makesenseofcards.com/soacalc.html
Secondly Hi honey  I went a bit AWOL for a bit, OH been made redundant and although lost nearly all debt, not even finished paying debts off yet, things are a tad worrying. On my income we are about £1k a month short:eek: so I am delaying paying debts until he finds a job that will cover that at least... but hate to see that lovely capital disappear by the month!!
And there is Christmas coming up:rolleyes:
Oh boy need a plan, need top go home now will try not to be a stranger but my work is mad too;)LBM- finally kicked in 16/12/08 @ [strike]£41,862 [/strike] £0.00/ DFD- 24/12/13

Hi All!
Well, I'm not quite ready to do my '1 year on' post, but have been getting bits together, so next week should see a mammoth post from me and possibly a new SOA!
Its been a bit of a mixed week really! On one hand I have over £7000 'spare' on my Barclay CC (6.9% LOB) so called them to see if I could balance transfer my Abbey card on to it, only to be told that they don't have a BT offer on my account at the moment, but if I were to call back in 2 weeks, there would be! How strange!? Anyway, I will call back because.....
1) I need to get the balance off my Abbey card as the 0% has ended and they are charging some horrendous amount on interest. And
2) as part of my mixed week, I got a pre-approved CC application from A&L (Santander) with 0% on BT's for 12months. Now there is a restriction on what you can BT to it and that includes any balance on a card that is part of the Santander (mega) group, which includes Abbey!! I thought the banks weren't allowed to send out CC incentives for new cards any more - not that I am complaining mind you as if the credit limit is big enough, it puts a big chunk back onto 0% again!
To help my cause (although pre-approved as I hold a A&L account you never know!) I have cut my limit on both my Egg cards. I have reduced one card from £5200 limit to £1000 and the limit of £5000 on the other to £2500, promptly wiping £6700 off my 'available credit' which I know they look at when you apply for cards!
Thats about it from me for now! I have had a quick look through most of your diaries and you all seem to be really motivated at the mo - Well done and keep up the good work!
I'll be back next week with a 'tell all' post - I have a feeling that I haven't done quite as well as I hoped over the year, but... its nearly 2010 and time for another new start!! (debt is not bigger than this time last year, so not all bad!)

Hi All!
I hope those of you waiting to hear good news on the reclaiming of bank charges front aren't too disappointed with this mornings news? (goes away to shout rude words about the banks in the corner!) Whilst I would have loved to hear some good news (Simply because in my pre-DFW days I was racking up HUGE amounts of charges - £2000+ in 3 years or so with my dear friend HSBC!) I was never 'relying' on them giving the money back to clear my debts - although it would have been more than nice! ;O) Hey-ho!
Still haven't got round to working out my '1 year on' state of finances - will wait now til I hear about the A&L CC and when barlays have decided to put a BT offer on my account!
Hope you are all well and ploughing on with your DF missions!
