  • Definitely!! I do just want to see the back of it and my plans to date don't seem to have worked, so I'll clear it and then lower the limit from £800 to £200. I would like to leave a little OD option there as I haven't buit up an emergency fund yet!! (doh!)

    I think it's great to use it to bust your debt a bit- but don't forget to use some for a wee treat.......... obviously my treat would have something to do with Tobago but then I'm not nearly as mature as you;)

  • Hi OBNW!! Yeah, I called him last night to say thanks. My elder step-brother gave his cheque back, which my step-dad thought was very rude!!

    I have just been to the bank to lodge afor mentioned cheque!! I had to walk past 2 travel agents to do it..... I was strong though and didn't even look in the window!!

    My step-dad said he didn't know what to do with it now as he really didn't want it. I had to bite my lip, as I have a few ideas!! lol. I told him to either invest it and then hand it out again in a few years, or to go and treat themselves!!!

  • Hi OBNW!! Roughly, tapping nice round figures into the calculator, I reckon my debt total stands at somewhere in the region of, roughly, almost nearly £15,500!

    I will work it out a bit more accurately - as you have now got me intrigued!! lol
