  • Well, due to a series of unfortunate circumstances, we are not getting paid today (tomorrow=bank holiday)..... so we have to wait until Tuesday!! In the past this would have made me  but due to my on-going DFW ways, I can absorb the delay!! :T It would happen over a bank holiday weekend wouldn't it!! I 'spose the good news is that next week I get paid twice (Tues and my usual Friday!!)
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO YOU CAN NOT HAVE TWO PAYDAYS IN ONE WEEK:naughty:
That is just too greedy, I am still having counselling because you get paid weekly.... I'll never cope with this too.
I'm going to be back loud and mean......... did you really miss me???

    did you????

    did you????
    LBM- finally kicked in 16/12/08 @ [strike]£41,862 [/strike] £0.00/ DFD- 24/12/13 :D

Morning All - hope you are all enjoying Easter Friday.... I am at work.... but its ok! Not too busy yet.... once all the DIYers and caravaners (we have loads of caravan / holiday site around us) are up and about we should be nice and busy. We are only here until our last delivery truck returns... hopefully no later than about 3 or 4pm!!

OBNW - Yes I did miss you!! I missed your loudness and meanness!! Generally I am not liking how quiet everyone has gone... and it happened at the time they gave us our 'trial diary board'!!!

LemonTree - There's no point getting stressed!! (I find it too tiring!! lol) I looked at my spreadsheet and could see that it wouldn't do me any harm.... so just went with the flow!! It will all come right next week! I was a little aprehensive about changing bank accounts - but so far its all been pretty good (and I bagged £150 to boot!!)

Well, thats all folks. No weekly budget as I'm not getting paid this week. In all honesty, now I have my shiney spreadsheet, I don't really need to work out a budget. £60 a week covers my expenditure including diesel and food, and the rest takes care of itself. Hopefully next week I will be able to transfer some more money into the HSBC account to clear the OD!!

Have a fabtastic weekend all! Nats x

£150 is a very good reason to change bank accounts. I think i never went for it because i have two current accounts, one for salary and t'other for DD's, and i'm just worried that if i moved my salary to a different account as they would expect me to it will take too many days for the transfer to happen to the DD account and i could just see everything going wrong.

Spent £11 on 2 tops yesterday!

Went food shopping - all went on OH's card - just need to work out how much my share is as there was a lot of stuff on there that was for him.

Thats about it - am in work (again) but its not too sunny outside so I don't mind too much!

Have a great weekend all - Nats x

    Good morning all!!!!

I hope you all had a good Easter Weekend and enjoyed some sunshine?

Well, we get paid today (not too excited as its last Fridays pay!) but I have managed to get through the weekend without being paid... and not gone into my A&L OD!! Now that is AMAZING!!!

**LITTLE CONFESSION!** In one of my last posts I wrote "Hopefully next week I will be able to transfer some more money into the HSBC account to clear the OD!!" It would appear that I missed the word "help" out. So I will be transfering some money this week "to help clear my OD!!" Not a chance of clearing it one go!!! (thanks all for thinking I could though!!)

Ok - summary of Bank holiday expenditure.....

£10 diesel (usual for the week)
£37.50 extra shopping for picnic and Blue-Ray disc for darling OH as a Easter Present (I must have been feeling especially loving!!)
£30 Saturday night out! (drinks and taxi home - still had some change!)
£20 Sunday expenditure (little eggs for DSS egg-hunt - not organised enough!! This is something I really need to work on!!)
£10 Monday - An amazing day - went to watch the ERC (European Rally Championship) that was on in Kent. Had never been before, and it was fab!!! Got some really cool pics and sunburn to top it all off! The right side of my face and neck is a fetching shade of pink today!! My OH just looks like he has been on holiday for a few days - nice and brown!! How annoying!!

I will need to check this evening that my car finance has been paid from 'somewhere' and that I have indeed been paid today!! Will look at HSBC at lunch (as I have memorised my log-in details) but A&L will need to wait til tonight as I haven't remembered their details yet!)

Right - thats it from me for now! Had better go and do some work so I stand a chance of being paid this Friday!! lol

Hmmmm - sinking feeling (although not panicing yet!!):o

Logged on to HSBC just now....... and they have cancelled all my DD's!!! Including the one to my car finance people, which isn't showing on my A&L account!! I thought this was going too smoothly!!

Be back when I know more!!

Right! Well! I messaged HSBC (who came back to me surpisingly quickly!) and they have said that they received a request to transfer all DD's and SO's to another account, so they have and have canxd everything. Fair enough _ 'spose it has to happen that way or you end up with money going from 2 accounts to pay 1 bill. But.... there was nothing showing on my A&L account last time I looked..... so there is now nothing I can do until this evening when I have me details to hand. I 'spose worst case scenario is I have to pay the finance people separately this month and make sure it all kicks in next month!! I knew this was going to be tricky!!

On a good note though...... Q.co has validated my £50 for swapping my account to A&L and that will be with me at the beginning of May!!!

sorry to hear about the HSBC shock cancelling of your DD's, it's weird that they did them all at once, it may pay to phone the finance people and explain and check that they have been told that your bank has changed.
I had a blip over the weekend and have spent too much, guess i'm going to have to get back onto the waggon and really cut back again.
