    Good afternoon All! :D

I hope you all had a good weekend? Mine was simply lovely!!

Finished work early on Sat, went home and got changed and then toddled off to a nearby town (well, city really) and booked into the nicest hotel there. I have never seen such a HUGE bed in my life!! The room was stunning with a large en-suite bathroom, walkin shower and a lush, deep free-standing bath. Spent the afternoon wandering and drinking, then back to get changed (after a glass of wine and a nice hot bath!!) and off to a Morrocan/Lebonese restuarant. Them back to the hotel bar for a couple of drinkies and then bed. Up in the morning.... a little wander around to clear the head (no, not a hangover honest guv!) and then a lovely cooked breakfast in a nearby quaint cafe. A spot of shopping and home for about 3pm. I am one very happy, lucky, contented girl!! It was just what the doctor ordered and all I paid for was a cuppa tea and a hot chocolate sat in the sunshine yesterday!!

So, here I am, back at work.... but still suitable chilled out!

Nothing to report on the money front. I bought a top yesterday, but that will be covered by my money from my mum (she'll pop into work later to see me.... a good excuse not to do a lot for about half an hour!!) And I had to put some extra fuel in my car too, but really not worries about that!!

Have a good afternoon, and I'll pop back later when you have all woken up and got round to posting!!

    Good afternoon all!!!

    Hope you are all well?

Apologies for not writing yesterday - but for some reason the site kept saying that my post was under 10 characters long... really? Me? Short posts? Never!:rotfl:

Nothing to report money wise!!! Roll on payday!!

I had a £20 voucher for River Island from my brother and £100 cash from my mum!! Just deciding what to do with it..... would like to buy some clothes (and shoes!) for the summer but think I should use it against my HSBC OD. I think I will trawl through my wardrobe this evening and see what I have got to wear for the coming sunshine... then work out what I actually need rather than want!!! Looks like I will be splitting the money half and half.... although I have the voucher for RI as well. Oh.... it's a dilemma!! :p

Set up my SO on the A&L account last night to send the house account. :T

Still need to plant seeds - just been soo weary getting home after work, haven't bothered yet.... but I will!

Well, I should be around this afternoon!!! Love to all! x

Well, well, well!!! (3 holes in the ground!) :rotfl:

Funnies aside I haven't been on here since last Wednesday!! How bad am I??

So its time for a catchup - in bullet form I think.....
    • Got paid Friday.... Usual amount, just a transfer to the house account and my Abbey CC payment to go out this week
    • Spent £12 on Friday night on fish and chips as a treat for OH and DSS (and me!!). Took money from my birthday money, so that was ok.
    • Opened a new WillHill account via Q.co so I could have my annual bet on the Grand National. I always have a £20 flutter... its about the only thing I do bet on - don't even do the Lottery really!) I will get £15.25 back from opening my account. I was looking forward to a repeat of my success last year (got 1st, 3rd and 4th) which gave me about £78 back off £20.... but no this year. I only got 4th giving me £4.50. Add that to the £15.25 from Q.co and my betting cost me £0.25.... not too bad!! (wouldn't have minded a pound on the winner though!!)
    • Food shopping £26.28
    • Diesel £10 - how much has that just gone up!!! ? Not good
    • Have £15.50 in my purse - no more withdrawals for the week!!!
    • Did 5 hours OT at work on Sat - keep an eye out in this weeks pay!!
    Things I need to do......
    • Transfer some odd bits of money to A&L to keep out of OD.
    • Sort through summer clothes - see what I have to wear once the sun starts shining!
    • Get old mobiles sent off - £50 odd pending there..... need OH to get his finger out (of where I'm not sure!!?) and take the photos ff his old phones so I can send them off.
    • Dig out stuff for ebaying.
    • Plant seeds - still not done.... must do urgent!!! :o
    • Need to speak to friends from Uni and find out about plans and expected costs for us to meet up in May.
And a whole host of other things that will crop up.

I hope you are all well and looking forward to a short working week. I think I may have Friday off although contracted to work and I will be in work on Saturday..... such is life!!

    hi nat
glad to see you back, sounds like you made progress. I've finally got some tomato seedlings, been waiting an absolute age, maybe my having a word with them has worked. it's a bit slow here, spent some money in town over the weekend but didn't go too mad.
