    Thanks Nats

Glad to hear phone mobile all sorted - you've reminded me I must call my other DDebit people today (on the to do list!)

Kids - I will PM you - the kids are great TBH - infact so lovely, if they were mine I'd be very proud, I haven't anything to moan about at all - just its all so new to me - I'd love to be able to pick your brains for advice if anything does come up if you don't mind? and also be an 'ear' for you too! Just even saying bye to them - when do you start giving them a hug? ... I suppose let them come to you??

    Hi All! :D

    Am more cheerful today!

Right, well, as posted, mobile phone bill all sorted :T ! Other than that, nothing else really to report. Dull, dull, dull!

Have decided that I will use this Friday as a new start! New current account and all. Running it to £0 each week and transfering the excess cash to my HSBC account will enable me to see the HSBC account going down nicely (and hopefully relatively quickly) to £0 as well. Can't wait to be able to add the £800 to my debt paid target of £6500 for the year!

TBH - with DSS, I am lucky - he is a total star most of the time!! I think it is just that we seem to have to do sooo much with him. For example, he has homework allocated on a Friday, due for handing in the following Wednesday. We did half the homework with him over the weekend as we had him and left the other part for him to do at home with his mum. Well DSS was at ours last night and we had to try and fit in doing the rest of the homework as it had not been done at his mums! At the age of 7, you can't hold him resposible for doing it.... but his mother is..... well, not my idea of 'good parent' shall we say!!

Am on a count down to my b'day now. Only 4 whole days to go. OH (sarcastically) suggested that I might like to have a "Martins Money Party" over the weekend and get all my freinds together and sit around chatting about how much money we owe!! I think the look on my face put an end to that idea!! :D (ckeeky g*t!!)

Off to cruise around your diaries - have noticed some of you have been a bit lax recently on posting!!! I am not impressed!! :p

    Morning All!!

Well, its payday tomorrow!! :j And in honor of my shiney new current account.... I am going to create a nice shiney new spreadhseet!! Need to keep things on course now - no reason for slacking any more!! A spreadsheet will help me look ahead at those pesky weeks when I pay out more than I earn! Am not too worried about dipping into my new OD as its interest free for a year.... need to clear the HBSC one as soon as though! Went online at A&L and set myself up as a payee so I can send money to my HSBC OD and also the household account - just need to remember to cancel my existing SO's!!

So, for now I am off to do some work and create my spreadsheet when no-ones looking! ;)

Hope you are all having a good Thursday? I'll be back in a while to check up on you all..... looks like rain here!

    Morning Nats

Tis piddling it down here my dear!! Not a nice day ..... OOooooo to shiny new spreadsheet (GEEEEEEK ;)) love the geekiness really hun- it encourages me to do mine!! I have no excuse now :o......

Completely understand on the DSS - like you said - it seems like you do the hard work and she gets the glory...... It took me a long time til I was older to realise my mum was not the ideal mum candidate she made herself out to be ..... I'm lucky I have an adopted type mum who is great - and a lovely stepmum too.

3 days to birf-a-day!! Wooohoooo!!! :rotfl: at your OH, definitely a cheeky monkey ;)

Be back later hun, I really must do stuff today!!!

Right - well I am now running 2 spreadsheets on one page (side by side) so I can follow both accounts at the same time. HSBC looks a bit sad at the mo (-£601.02) but that will change. The amount of money that I have to transfer to HSBC will depend on how organised my creditors are at changing my details. Really must keep on top of this and reduce the HSBC ASAP!!

Might see if I can squeeze 2 ODs onto my signature!! (ooh, excitement!!)

ps, have totally lost track of NSD's (or not) this month!! hey-ho - at least I am travelling in the right direction!!

    Good Morning All!!!

It's Friday..... and we should all know what that means by now!!!

    PAYDAY!!! :T

I haven't had time yet to get online to see where my wages have ended up this week.... should be A&L!! Will have a look at lunchtime!!

So, I will check and then make my weekly withdrawal..... only need to withdraw £50 as I put diesel in my car yesterday as I was running on fumes again!! As far as I am aware, there is only my car insurance to come out in the coming week of about £16.65. Not going to go toooo mad transfering money over to the HSBC account becasue although the next 2 weeks are quite light on DD's - the 3rd week is a beast!!!

Well, I 'spose you could class this weekend as my 'birthday weekend' even though its not until Monday...... last night my OH said to me "right, I've got the weekend sorted, you need to pack a bag for Saturday night!" Oooooh how excited am I???!!!! :j

Well I had better go and do some work, I'll be back later, about lunchtime, when I've had a look at my online banking!!! :D
