I hate being taken out on Mothers day, restaurants really busy, long waits disappointment when menu options run out- I'd rather have someone cook for me (and your brother can make a donation for the food- I'm thinking 75:25 as you are doing the hard work;) ...Flowers are good but so are nice creams (hands and faces need lubricating) Of course the best pressies are wine and liquorice:D
I am currently searching for a motor bike courier to deliver a bucket of evening primrose to you ASAP:pLBM- finally kicked in 16/12/08 @ [strike]£41,862 [/strike] £0.00/ DFD- 24/12/13

Hi Nat,
Another Kent girl here. I've been reading your diary for a few months now and i really enjoy it - your style of writing is really enjoyable to read.
Why are lil brothers all the same, uselessmines exactly the same! I've seen so many different restaurants in Maidstone offering special Mothers day set menus, and all very reasonably priced too, not sure where your based. However, many restaurants are always soo busy and the waiting times are ridiculous, it may be nice to cook at home, much better value for money and you can spend any money you have left on a lovely bunch of flowers.

Hi shopaholic84! and welcome to my (slightly stressed today) diary! :rotfl:
Glad you are enjoying the read!
Thanks for the Maidstone bit, slightly too far away though! I think cooking is looking favourable - just means I will have to do the shopping for that as well..... as my brother cannot be trusted with anything!!! He's organising his own 21st party for September - I bet he doesn't c*ck that up!! :rolleyes:start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

Good morning all!!!
Am calm this morning - mainly thanks to a nice big hot bath and several large glasses of red wine last night!! How long will it last.... now that is the question!!
My mum popped into my work yesterday afternoon and asked what I would like for my buffday. I said nothing really, so she suggested money. Well, how could I refuse? She asked how much I would like......I thought asking for £18,000 was a little steep (not to mention cheeky) so I just said "lots!" and mum smiled. We'll see!!
Well, not a lot else to report for now - so I will go and do some work and be back later.

Men eh?
I forgot this morning that I went online to A&L last night and I have a DD transfered over... my mobile bill, due on the 22nd (£19.84). And.... work have had the letter reqesting them to pay my wages into my new account, so that will happen next Friday (27th) as it was too short notice for this week!
I was toying with the thought of moving money from my HSBC account to cover my mobile bill at A&L .... but then I remembered that my A&L OD is interest free, so I will leave the money in HSBC to try and get the OD down!!
