    Morning all!

Ok, just a quick catch up as I have a mountain of work to climb over today!!

Rags - thanks, can't believe that I have hit £1000, with no over-payments. Just shows how much money I am laying out to service my debts each month. Roll on being in a postition to over pay!!!

Emms - Thanks for dropping by - everyone seems to be busy at the mo... surely this is a good sign??

OBNW - Am I still on the naughty seat - its just that my bottom is going a bit numb!!?

Well, my brother has managed to redeem himself (in my eyes anyway) and has managed to book a late lunch at a small country pub for Sunday. Job done!! I promise this will be my last non-DFW spend for a while!!

Tried getting on to A&L last night as have had confirmation from Egg that they have changed my DD details, but A&L was down!! Is this a regular occurance? Just that in all the time I have been with HSBC, their site has never been down!!

Well - payday tomorrow!! That should be interesting!! Still haven't changed my spreadsheet from the weekend.... will do it all in one swoop tomorrow!

So, I am off to plough through the paperwork that has settled on my desk (well I think there is a desk there somewhere!!), but I will be back later!!!

    Hello all (again)!

Right, have been on A&L and there are more DD's showing, so thats good - they're getting there!! Nothing to come out in the next week or so except the phone bill that I already knew about so am feeling quite chilled (was a bit worried that it would all become a big sheddy mess!)

Not a lot else to report really! Will do and do some daily clicks in a bit and thats pretty much me for the day!

I really can't believe how busy we are at work... I work for an independant builders merchants (there is just our branch, not one of the big Nationals) and we are doing well. Considering the down-turn in the building industry, we seem to be on the up!! Must be the service we offer!!

Hope you are all having a good day?

I'm a tad fed up with mine as it was all mapped out and now I know it's going to be shot to pieces when redundancy strikes but hey ho:rolleyes: nothing I can do to change that so I'll just carry on with my plan until it all gets upset...... then I'll throw all my toys out my pram.
Decided to go out dancing with my DD's to celebrate DD3's 18th on 24/04 ( and your 'black day' obviously), I desperately need to practice my embarrassing mum moves:D

OBNW my mum does her embarrassing mum moves without trying after a tipple or two, maybe you should go for that option.
Just a question, is it too soon to do my accounts given that i've found out what my take home pay is this month but i don't get paid it till next friday? i don't want to start confuddling myself thinking i can change o/d limit etc but then forget once payday has arrived. (does this make sense????? not sure)

Good afternoon all! Hope you are all well?

Well its that time of the week again when I get to do my weekly budget-thingy.

Due to my hormone driven shopping trip last weekend and then food shopping with my OH... my account balance is a little lower than I had predicted!!

So, based on my OH owing me a minimum of £38 for the food shopping (still to tackle the T-shirt and smellies I bought for him as well!) I have withdrawn £30 for the week. I have already put diesel in my car (although having to drive to my parents on Sunday will probably mean that I will need more than my £10 allowance again next week!) So at the moment (with my payment to the household account and OD interest!)I am looking at my account balance going no lower than (drum roll please) -£560!! Oh and £14.99 due back from my top I am going to take back on Sunday (but I may just exchange it for a pair of trousers for work! - well the money has gone hasn't it!! ;) )

Out to dinner Sunday which means that I don't need to get stuff for a roast, so just normal shopping to get us through the next week - so that should be a little lower than of late. The weather is brighter now and I can face eating salad again!! But have lunch on Sunday to cover with my brother and a few birthday cards to buy! So we will see!! What will be will be - its not going to stress me!!

First DD is due out of A&L on either today or Monday and then my wages will gt paid in there from next Friday. Next week there is only my car insurance due (at £16.65) so just need to see where that will come out from.

Have decided that I will try and run my A&L account at £0.00 (just leave enough money in there to cover the DD's due and my weekly allowance and then everything spare I will transfer to my HSBC account. (I don't want to end up with 2 accounts in their OD!!)

    Quick calc....

    A&L opening balance =£0.00

    - £19.84 Mobile bill =-£19.84
    +£340.55 wages =+£320.71
    - £60 weekly allowance =+£260.71

Now I'm not sure where they will take my car insurance DD from although I am guessing it will A&L so.....

    - £16.65 car Ins =+£244.06

So I will transfer £240.00 to my HSBC account to get my OD down as I am paying interest on it!!! Grrr! (should put my HBSC OD at about -£360ish)

Next week I need to cancel my SO from my HBSC current account to the household account and set up a new one for A&L....

And so on and so on!! Week after week until my HBSC OD is £0.00!!! Hoping to get back on track for the 24th April.... we'll see!! I'm not sure I am eligable for miracles!!

Well, there's another rambling post from me (and I doubt whether most of it made any sense to you at all - I but I get it..... which essentially is the most important bit!)

Not in work this weekend (YIPPEE) so I will try and catch up from home!!

Wishing you all a great weekend, Nats x

I am still a tad fed up too - but I am a little stubborn and I am not going to let the past few months (hard) work unravel coz I am bored!!

I agree with LemonTree - a few drinkies frees 'the dance' in all of us!! Just keep grinning and you will be fine (and it may even add to the embarrassment factor..."crazy mum with crazy moves!")

Hmmm - I would work through a 'plan of action' based on your wages, but not actually action it until the money hits your account! I know what I am being paid every week (it is always boringly the same amount!) and I know I get paid every Friday - but I don't work anything out until either late Thursday night or on Friday!!

Afternoon All!! The sun is shining here again today, which means the washing can go on the line. Other than that not a lot to report as I am feeling like total pants. Thursday saw me develop a rather odd (nothing there) cough and then yesterday I started sneezing for England (something I can do quite easily if something 'gets up my nose'!) Well after toddling off to bed early last night (on a Friday!!) I woke up late this morning and still felt cr*ppy. Now I ache all over - probably from the amount of coughing and sneezing I have done over the past day or so.

Just a quick tip to all..... don't even think about dying your hair when you are not feeling your usual bright self!! I think doing so may have just tipped me over the edge for the day

Need to pop into town to get a mothers day card and then was planning on heading to the pub to watch the rugby.... not sure if I have the energy though!! (whats the world coming too? I ask you!!)

So, for all of you feeling down in the dumps or a bit off colour like me, I wish you a good weekend... and for everyone who is ok...... make the most of the sunshine!!!
