Something to be glad about I 'spose. :o I am looking forward to my black day, as I am going to count my OD in my debt repayment..... so that will be another £800 repaid!!

Will be back later with the details on my weekly budget - but for now I really should do some work!!!

Yay to your £1k - that's great Nats!! I'm enjoying the weekly withdrawal money - still got £5 left over from last week, and the £50 I withdrew on Wednesday is still at £50. But got a night out with friends tomorrow and know there'll be cabs involved!

My new challenge is going to be getting together my SOA in the next week or so. With April approaching - bills changing - it should give me a new idea of how much I can pay off things a month...

Look forward to your budget update! :D

    xx

Ha ha!! Friday is my 'lunch food treat' and I buy sandwiches from the little MrT just up the road. Today I picked up a reduced wrap thing... down to £1.10 from £2.00. Anyway I paid for it along with some other bits and when I got to my car, I checked my receipt (not something I always do!)... and they had charged the wrap at the full price of £2.00.

So what did I do? The old me would have said "oh well" and gone back to work..... but not the new DFW me!! I walked back into the store (queued up again!!) and asked for my 90p back.... and I got it!!

    Whoop whoop me!!! :rotfl:

    Back later with more!! :T

Ha ha - it's so annoying having to get refunds - but definitely worth it!! I know the bored feeling. Now I've sorted the amount I'm paying each month and there's no interest so I don't need to pay it off any quicker I don't really have much to think about! (probably why I booked the hols whoops!) I still have my overdraft to get down, but slowly and surely is the plan!! It's good to not feel stressed about money, but missing the buzz you get from paying things off!!

Think up some free things that you can do to entertain yourself this weekend :D

Hmmmm - here's something to lift the boredom!!!

I haven't factored in Mothers Day - but thats not too much of a problem.

OH and I both paid £25 each to the Tesco CC last night, just to keep things ticking over..... think new TV, new computer, etc so that now makes the 19th May +£2.56!! It's amazing how one little 'spend' has a knock-on affect in 9.5 weeks time!!!
I looked through the details on A&L and they will credit me my £100 within 4 months of the account being opened (as long as I have transfered my DD's etc) so that should be with me by the middle of June.

    NEWS FLASH!!!

Have just remembered that new A&L account is at 0% interest on the OD up to my limit of £200.... so if I do dip in for those 3 days (Tues to Thursday) it wont cost me anything. Obviously not going to go mad now.... but nice to know its not such a big deal.... although would rather not dip into it.... but what will be will be.... as long as I minimize my 'dip' amount, I'll be happy!! :D

Oh, am meeting up with a friend tonight for a bite to eat... haven't seen her for ages. It was her b'day last Friday and all I sent her was a text!! So I am going to wrap up a bottle of perfume I was given for Christmas. It's still sealed in its box, so she will be chuffed (as she is a perfume freak!!) and I will be happy as it hasn't cost me anything!!! :rotfl:

Oddly enough I'm meeting up with an old friend tonight she totally forgot my birthday last week, just got a lousy text from her. I bet she will try and palm some of her unwanted crimbo pressies off on me:rolleyes: She always seems to give me perfume ( I can't stand the stuff) I think she thinks I have a wind problem that needs masking:p
    LBM- finally kicked in 16/12/08 @ [strike]£41,862 [/strike] £0.00/ DFD- 24/12/13 :D
