Work is sooo stoopidly busy this time of year.... this week we get the people who are organised enough to get their stuff in time for Easter and next week we get the people who missed the boat! Madness!

Still waiting to hear if I am working Friday or not..... definitely in Sat, but I do get Sun (we're not open anyway!) and Monday off!! YAY!!

Will be back later with more of an update - just didn't want you all to think that I had given up on you all!

Tell me about it Lemon Tree - although, if the powers that be decide that I can have Fri off.... then I do still get paid!

Sometimes (only very occaisionally of course!) I marvel at how much of a donut I can be!!:rotfl: I have been running my 2 spreadsheets side by side to keep track of payments going out of the A&L and keeping track of whats happening in the world of my HSBC OD. I was starting to wonder where some of my money was.... and it was only this morning that I realised that I have 2 of my DD's still showing as pending on BOTH accounts on my spreadsheet!!! DOH!!! I think 1 will definitely come out of my HSBC account - the other should leave A&L!!

Nothing else to report really! had better get back to work!!!

Hope you are all having some sunshine this afternoon? It is lovely here!

Morning all! Its a little grey and miserable here today! Nevermind - its almost a bank holiday... what else would the weather be like?? lol

Well, due to a series of unfortunate circumstances, we are not getting paid today (tomorrow=bank holiday)..... so we have to wait until Tuesday!! In the past this would have made me  but due to my on-going DFW ways, I can absorb the delay!! :T It would happen over a bank holiday weekend wouldn't it!! I 'spose the good news is that next week I get paid twice (Tues and my usual Friday!!)

I have nothing else to report...... just waiting to see where my car finance payment gets paid from (HSBC or A&L) but as it is due tomorrow, I'm not sure when they will take it! Will have to log on at lunchtime and have a look. I'll let you know (what do you mean you don't care?! lol)

Oh, and it looks like I am working Fri and Sat - no great hardship, I'm one of "those people" who actually enjoy being at work!! :o

Laters, hope you all ok (where are you all?

    hey nat!
Just a quick check in as been super busy at work - trying to get all Fri and Mon's work done by close of play! Shame you've not got the time off - mind you time off is normally just an excuse to spend money!! I'm going back to my parents and will head out for a walk if the weathers nice but other then that I plan on spending as little as poss. Do have to go out for a friends birthday on Saturday though!!
Will catch up properly next week when my work loads a bit more managable - have a good weekend!! :)

Hey Nat- just read through last few pages- love your diary! You're so good posting all the details to help you keep on track. For some reason, I seem to fall on my own diary bandwagon every couples of months or so! I can't believe you don't get time and a half for working a bank holiday- that's shocking! Also, your OH sounds lovely- what a romantic weekend you had! I just had one too, although no hotel- just at home, romantic walks, champagne (free from work) and candles...lovely!

    Love Miss Shoes xx

Ok - quick update (as I should really be working!)
    • checked A&L and HSBC - no car payment from either yet!! It is not showing on my A&L account as someone to pay, so I am pretty sure it will come from HSBC!!
    • Bought lunch :o £2.00 for sandwiches (already had a bag of crisps and a banana from home!)
    Bits for you guys......

Elizabeth - have a great weekend - glad things are still going well for you.... I think the lodger idea is a fab one for 4 months!!

MissShoes - Do you like shoes by chance? I can't remember the last time I bought shoes (I have some money left over from my birthday - shoes are needed I think!) If I write everything down on here, then it makes me more accountable. I am far too good at starting money busting/saving and then thinking that I have done enough and sliding (quite rapidly!!) back into my old ways!!

Angie - Have written on your diary (sorry, it turned into one of my rambles!!:o)

Well thats about it for now! I am not liking the fact that most peoples diaries have gone quiet - what am I 'sposed to read?????

hi, i'm logging in during a reduced lunch break, what idiot decided a meeting to cover all of the lunch break was a good thing?
I think you're actually quite brave to move over bank accounts, i haven't done it for 11 years and luckily when i did do it i had little or no DD's.
Glad you found you had duplicated DD's on your spreadsheet rather than missed them off entirely could have been much worse.
Hat's off to you though, i don't think i could be so cool about being paid late rather than earlier due to the bank holiday.
