Morning All!!
Emms! I used veg suet and they were still light. Am now intrigued about the Jamie O recipe - let me know how it goes?
Confession time....
Now although I do update my monetary situation regularly and keep a note of expenditure etc (and I obviously like crunching my numbers!) I do it all manually! I carry a large (almost A4) diary everywhere I go and everything is logged in there. So, I am not as technologically advanced as some of you thought (but thanks for thinking I am!!!):rotfl:
Will write more later - got a mental day by the looks of things!!

Hi Nats
You have inspired me to try the dumplings in my next stew!! Then I can report back… - yes my stepmum said she saw the recipe yeeeeaaaars ago and it makes them less stodgy. She hadn’t seen it since….. was happy I got her same book for xmas!!!
LOL!! Love your confession time!! And glad to know its not just me who does the manual diary – I’ve just got to get to transferring it to spreadsheet. I really wanna see where the budget and actual meet!!!
Hope the days not too barmy for you

Nats,
What are you doing to my mental picture of you- you are trashing it.
For some reason when I read your posts I have an image of a trendy young skinny thing, dark hair stylish specs and a wizz on the puta:p
This is where I get to say 'you work out your accounts manually' in a 'I carried a watermelon' type tone :rolleyes2
So now you carry a big A4 pad have a pencil behind your ear (which you chew regularly) and have slightly squidgyer outlines
You are still dark haired though aren't you?
Oh yeah Emma you are a blonde like me  defo:DLBM- finally kicked in 16/12/08 @ [strike]£41,862 [/strike] £0.00/ DFD- 24/12/13

:T :rotfl: Oh OBNW!!! :rotfl: :T You have just cracked me up!!!
Still giggling so hard its difficult to type!! (you are scarily accurate though  do I know you?)
Ok, me (just to fix those pics in your head you have!) Medium height, slightly more than average build (curvy I'd like to say!), longish dark hair (naturally mousey - but currently not far off very dark brown / black! Today its a bit frizzy as I just could not be a*sed to straighten it last night!) When my eyes get tired (quite often since finding this bloomin' site!) I wear trendy glasses!
 It's a proper diary - not just a pad!! :rotfl:
I do have a bad habit of chewing pens and pencils. My ears are quite small and neat though, so pencils tend not to stay there.... I have been known to stick them in my hair when its tied up though! (think Wilma Flintstone!!):D
I just find it easier to sit in front of the TV and scribble away with my pen and paper than input numbers into the computer! I can follow my own thought process easier!!!
I reckon Emms is blonde too - quite a darkish blonde though - and nicely styled!

BANANA HAMMOCKS
(has nothing to do with anything other than I wanted to "come in and shout something funny" after your dumplings... had me :rotfl: :rotfl: )
P.S - Definitely "blonde" in the sense of the word .... and was born blonde.. but it went mousey as I got older... was highlighted blonde til about 2 years ago.. am now a dark brown, just passed the shoulders, am only ickle... 5'2", and a bit petite!! Which i think leads to me being asked for ID quite frequently (bonus at my age!!) OOO i'm the one with the trendy blue rimmed (ooooooo I hear you cry) glasses....LBM - 17th November 2008 - better late than never

Ooh ID!! I get asked too - more and more the older I get - how strange!!!
Thanks for the banana hammocks - that made me :rotfl: again!!!
Ooh at the glasses - mine are quite squarish and look a bit like tortoise shell (but they are not I assure you!!)
Shall we guess on OBNW? I'm not too good at things like this... so I reckon OBNW's blonde!!;)start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

Oh I do that too - trying to get back to my natural mousey shade of brown - but in the meantime, I thought it would be nice to start adding flecks of grey to my roots!! Fetching! :rotfl:
Can't complain too much though. My mum starting going grey when she was about 16/17 so to get to my age... I'm quite happy! Must get some more semi-permanent hair dye this week - don't seem to do it in black, so dark brown it will be!start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225
