My first thought was throw it at the loan, but now i would have to agree with doodledo. wont see your debt go down any quicker but at least you will be covered when your 0% runs out. and will be able to pay a big chunk off which ever one you choose.December 2018: £20,850.24. Now: £18,333.02 Total paid in 2019: £2517.22

Thanks guys!! I like that idea - must admit it was one I hadn't thought of!!
This weeks shopping budget was blown when I over spent by £9 - but a good money week starting next Friday means I am not too worried (I am far too laid back for my own good!)
So, at the end of Feb, I need to start sticking money to one side - I can do that!! Fingers crossed though for another 0% or even low LOB as I was hoping to see my loan gone first! We'll see!start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225
end = Mon 28th Sept 2015 DEBT FREE!
I love a good plan - it may not work.... but I love a good plan!0 -
Oooh - I have signed up for the new Qype offer for £50 Virgin vouchers! 50 first reviews or 100 normal reviews (or a combo of both!) to do by 31st Jan! Better get typing!
We'll see what happens with this one as still waiting for £50 Amazon voucher from Novembers offer! (despite several emails and promises of 'its coming your way!') Better chase that again on Monday!!!start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

Doodles - if you have time to spare (or can do it on the sly if you are 'sposed to be doing something else) its worth doing. The reviews are of places you have been and usually need to be about 100 words or so.
Signing up is easy and then you register for the offer (banner on the right hand side of the page) and off you go!
Don't be put off by my Amazon voucher not coming along too quick. Over on the boost your income forum - loasds of people have been receiving their goody bags for becoming a ninja (you'll understand once you're on there) and these have included i-pods!!!
Off now for caserole and dumplings (bet they're like balls of lead as I've done them!!)start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

Morning Nats
How was weekend and how were the dumplings??? I’m intrigued!!!
(also very intrigued on how to become a ninja)
I can’t really help on credit card vs loan – I’m still struggling on a few issues of having an emergency fund before paying off O/D… so much advice out there. Although my personal thoughts are swinging towards pay the CC as then the quicker you get rid of that – you can then chuck that money and the current O/D money all at overpaying the loan?? (only my thoughts and perhaps someone with more experience will correct me!!??)
Did you have a nice weekend??
xxxLBM - 17th November 2008 - better late than never

Hi Emms!!
The dumplings were lovely - big thanks to my mum for the recipe, even though she couldn't believe that at my age I didn't know how to make them!! My excuse was that I am not a huge fan of dumplings, only ever ate them when I lived at home (and had no choice) and since them have more or less avoided them!
NINJA!! Not as in the martial art experts - but for doing enough reviews to get 1000 points on Qype!!
My weekend was ok ta. Nothing really too exciting, but I did wash my car!! Ooh, excitement!
I think that at the mo, I am going to go with the suggestion of putting the spare money into a savings account and then reassessing the situation in August when the 0% CC runs out. Then I should have a lump of money to do whatever is best with!start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

I'm really not sure how I manage to contain myself most of the time!
You could pretend you get paid weekly and then you could update as often as I do!!! :rotfl:start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225
