Many thanks in advance for your help, Nat
Hiya
Would you mind giving me some info on QYPE??
I am a student and paying a fortune for books so this would be great for me to do for vouchers fro amazon.
Well done on managing your finances too :TI am now debt free :j:jsince January 2009
but really need to learn how to save and budget to get some savings behind me :eek:0 -
Morning Mrs Jones!
Qype is a review website for shops, restaurants, bars, pubs, clubs, zoo's etc (virtually anywhere you can visit). Once you have signed up (quick and easy) you can review places and earn points for doing so. You get more points if you are the first review on an establishment. There are some new offers coming this month aparently (the last one was the Amazon voucher) so it may be worth signing up and just seeing what the new offer will be.
Hope this helps? There is a thread (who's name I will post when I can remember it) that you can go to and get a spreadsheet of loads of sites etc for daily clicks and cashback - these may help to offset the cost of your books.
Good luck with your studies! Natstart = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

I have had a read of this and it looks great, money for clicking haha what next ... i work from home on the internet so i can click away merrily while working. £2 a day for that will soon add up !
I perhaps could do the odd few clicks while doing my university work too.. i know i shouldn't but hey if its towards books then I think I can justify that :rotfl:
Thanks for the information:beer:

Hi Nats!!
My first day back on here – so glad to see I’m not the only one who disappeared over the xmas/ ny period. I haven’t fallen off the wagon either – just found it difficult to have any time on the internet! So busy visiting people, etc.
Anyway back to normal now! Glad to see you’re doing well and WELL DONE on no charges!!!
Speak soon!!

Hi just read your diary today, you've come a long way, maybe you've only shifted a small ammount so far, but it adds up, but more importantly you've changed your attitude and you're doing so well. Will be following with interest.
ps did you ever get your Qype voucher? Mine was delayed so I wenth through Qype and pm-d Rob Hinchcliffe who runs the site, he sorted it out for me very quickly.
Also regards the timer for how long you spend on here, if you use firefox you can download an inbuilt timer for free!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Nice to see everyone is coming back to life after the festivities!! :rotfl:
Ok, I really must apologise for not being on here quite as much, but (unfortunately!) I have been really rather busy at work yesterday and today. Just want you all to know that I am here in spirit and wishing you all on your way to being DF even if I'm not writing as much!!
Dinah93 - I am still waiting for the Amazon voucher from Qype. I will email again tomorrow or even message Rob. I would like it really before my OH's birthday!! I love the idea of the timer..... but I would be scared to see what it says. Thank you for your words of encouragement!!:D
Emms - HI!! I'll pop over to your diary in a bit!!
Mrs Jones - Good luck on your free cash!
DTDT - I missed you tooI bet your piggy bank will grow quicker than my NS&I account (even with 2 years interest to go in!!) I'll pass by your diary in a bit too!
Angie - I'm back!!! Have caught up on your diary and it sounds like you had a good time over crimbo. I'll write more on your diary too!
Well, I am buying jacket potatoes tonight - have already got the cheese, beans, coleslaw indoors and there is still plenty of bits from crimbo to wade through so I don't think we'll starve!
Really must get back into the daily clicks etc. I really do find them a little dull to be honest! I will perserver though as any money that is free has got to be a bonus. I can see the logic (honestly I can!!) but it does bore me...almost to tears!
I AM GOING TO GO AND DO SOME RIGHT NOW!!!!!
Bye bye! :jstart = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

Good afternoon everyone!!
Hope you all having a good day?
Well, yesterdays expenditure was £1.11 on 2 jacket potatoes for our dinner (they were huge!) and that was it!! Bargain me thought!:j
So far a NSD today. I am not counting them this month as I can't remember back to what happened between the new year and coming back to work. So going to do as many as possible and then jump back on the challenge in Feb. I will have to spend some money today - cigarettes!I am slowly smoking less and less without really thinking about it (which is nice
)
Last night I transfered everything from my 2008 diary into my 2009 one (free from work which handily started last October!!?). As my LBM was late November there wasn't that much to carry forward and now I have everything in one place.... a complete money trail from November to now!!
It's Wednesday and I still have £48.90 in my purse - madness! But I didn't need diesel or shopping really other than a couple of little bits. Need some squash so will get that tonight! Oh, and bread....
Right I am off again now or my shopping list will keep on growing! Have a good afternoon everyone!!
Oh - for those of you who like a Burger King fix, try signing up to this link for offer vouchers!

A little update (and bits I forgot to type out earlier!)
Have checked online banking and first DD went to Abbey today of £25!! I was previously paying Egg (2 cards) a combined amount of £130 a month!! Abbey is on 0% until August.
I have emailed the guys at Qype again about my Amazon voucher - will hopefully hear back in the next couple of days!
My OH made the most taste-tastic HM soup on Monday!! Soo good that I am going to have some more of it for dinner tonight. It was just turkey stock (we had about 4ltrs from the carcass!!) and shed loads of veg and I would have paid for it in a restaurant!!! Bless him - he is good in the kitchen, kinds puts my jacket potatoes to shame!!
Still not really back into clicking! And Takeabreak bingo want all sorts of documentatio from me to confirm my account - at least I haven't lodged any money with them yet!
Things to do tonight:-
Get organised for next weeks finances as I have my payslip already.
If I can get on the PC at home, gonna have a look at matched betting (I'm not stupid - I should be able to understand it!)
Put a load of washing on overnight
If I can get on PC at home look to see what some perfume I got for crimbo is selling for on ebay!
Thats it I think for today/tonight!
As always, thanks for reading my ramblings and I'll update my list tomorrow!!
Have a great evening! :beer:start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225
