  • Hi Nats

Sorry about my lack of checking in lately – bloomin work and all that (I mean who do they think they are?!?! ;))

Sounds like your list of things to do are going really well – WELL DONE!!! I feel very ashamed!!! :o – I’ve had such a busy few days!!!

As for your Amazon thing hun – think you must have clicked on the one click ordering – takes you straight through?!? If not go straight to your account and make sure you remove switch for next time??

Oh and I only realised the other day that you can get nectar points from Amazon. You have to log in through Nectar first and then click to shop at Amazon. It doesn’t actually tell you along the way that you will get them, but they do appear on your statement a month later… worth looking at if you use it a lot?? Or already have a nectar card?

    Hope crimbo shopping was ok!!

    Morning all!!!

Well I am back at work - which is actually preferable to the hours and hours of crimbo shopping I did yesterday.

There were good points (Park & Riding for only £2.50:D , seriously trimming the amount I spent on presents) and bad points (hand ache from carrying all the bags as I couldn't just pop back to the car and dump & getting the hump and withdrawing some cash so I could have a nice lunch:o !) Nevermind!!! What is done is done and onwards and upwards!

So, today I am going to get myself back on track - need to work out my budget for net week (will post when done!) I have remembered I need to do an extra couple of cards which need to post. 2 more ebay parcels to post, daily clicks and scratchcard. Wait for parcels to arrive from internet shopping!!

So, thats me done - better do some work - there is this strange paperwork mountain on my desk - wasn't there when I left on Tuesday:rolleyes:

    Have a great day!!

    Hi all!!

Just a quick question for you all if I may?

If my company fails to pay me on the usual payday (being today) and by them doing that I incur bank charges (poxy things!) am I in any way entitled to get the company to pay them?

Thanks in advance for any help - I will write more when I have calmed down!

Sorry about your pay, i know when this happens at our place the boss usually does pay them for us if it is his fault, or if its down to the banks he gets a letter from them sent out to the staff to take in. Not a proper answer i know.

Hope your day gets better hun.

    Hi!!

Well I am just about to be given my weeks wages in cash - and then the wages that will hit my bank on Monday will become next weeks wages, which I'll get 3 days early!!!

Now all I need to find out is if HSBC (B*ASTARDS) are going to charge me for going over and under my OD limit in 1 day? What do you guys reckon?

Get that money into your bank the same day as you went overdrawn and you should be fine! I've done that plenty of times with Barclays anyhow!!

    Hi Elizabeth!!

Thanks for that - I have paid the cash in and I asked the cashier what the score was and she said the same .... "they look at the balance at the end of the day!!" Phew - I was fuming at the idea of all my work (would say hard work, but I've not been that strict with myself yet!) had all been in vain and I would not be charge free next month!!

But, panic over and life goes on. All's well that ends well (and all the other cliche quotes you can think of!)

  • Oo I'm glad! I thought it'd be the case! I have to say the staff at my bank are really helpful and friendly about things like that - mind you I've probably been paying their wages with my bank charges and interest over the years ;)
