  • :hello: Just thought i'd drop in and say hi!

Food shopping is a nightmare i always over spend, i'm trying a different tatic this week - i'm going on line looking at it all pricing it up and then going with just that money and no more -that way i can't over spend a bit drastic but i'm terrible!

I also discovered on here and tested it last week that if you use the self scan in tesco's you can use vouchers and get discounts - you know, like the ones you get in mags and things...best bit is that the money comes off whether you have bought that product or not! :D so i now have mates collecting vouchers for me :shhh:

    Hi DTDT!! :hello:

Hope you have had a good day!! I like the self-scan checkout thing!! Will definitely give it a go!!

I think I will just go shopping on my own, with £40 for the week. If there is anything missing that my OH wants (ands its exclusively for him like cokes, beer etc) he can go and get it himself! Treats will have to be part of the budget - I think its going to be a case of lump it (not, like it!):D

Well, only 49 mins left at work then home for dinner (out the freezer) crimbo cards to write, present to wrap and possibly some daily clicks on one site that I didn't make it to at lunchtime! I might even make sandwiches for tomorrow instead of panicking when I roll out of bed late!!

    Have a good evening!!!

  • Great tip from DTDT!!! Evil tescos deserve some pay back (sorry I'm a bit against them! :o )

Sounds like you've had a good day nat - well done on daily clicks, etc. And yes completely agree on making the sandwiches before bed - i always get up late!! those 5 mins extra in bed are too tempting

  • yeah i thought i'd try it - i went on a friday about 9pm so no one would see if it didn't work and i'd look like a cheapskate *LOL* the only one it knocked back was one for surf!

i've been very good and did all my cards at the weekend although my mate out-MSE'd me and managed to get her company post room to frank all hers! *LOL* its becoming a bit of a competition between us now of who can save the most!

    have a good one

    :D I love sleeping!!!:D

Last time I had a big lie-in (and I am actually asleep not just laying there and drinking tea!) I told my other half that I should do it as often as possible....... as its free!! He didn't look too impressed, but it made me smile!:rotfl:

Well I hope you've had a good day LittleEmms? You always seem soooo cheery!

  • Hiya, just to let you know, I am reading you! You are doing really well, I've just had a lightbulb moment so am going to start a thread on Monday, which is when I get paid. What's the Cost reckons it's going to take me 6000 months to pay off my massive credit card debt if I carry on with minimum payments. I'd really like to start my own diary (paying off debts + spending) to see if I can pay everything off any earlier LOL (given that in 6000 months I will be very much dead)
    Start Date: 27/11/2010
    Padding: Day 42
    Target £8000
    Amount: £562.23
