  • Morning Guys and Gals!!! :j

Well - here I am at work .... again! My last Saturday of the year!!:T

Well, owing to yesterdays trauma regarding my wages (all sorted now so I'll move on!) I didn't get round to posting my budget for the week. So here goes....... (and I think I've got it right!)
    • I am clearing my small outstanding balance on my old Egg Money card £54.44. Due to my 'doh' moment and paying for some pressies on my current account, my self imposed limit is now -£720. I am not going to set aside my £40 this week (to put me back to -£680) as I have to pay Egg and its the season to be jolly (fa la la la la - la la la la) so I will probably be out a little more than of recent weeks.
    • Next week I have to pay, money into the house account, mobile bill and what will hopefully be my last lot of bank charges (£33.86)
    • I have withdrawn £70 - this is ....
    • £20 on cigarettes (at home more next week so will probably get through more than usual. £10 diesel. £15 food. This leaves £25 in my purse.
OH's work do tonight - he is still feeling pretty poorly, so won't drink too much. I've got loads to do tomorrow so don't really want a hangover either, so should be reasonably cheap (table wine is included and my OH gets a long service award, so hopefully there will be people buying him (and me) drinks!!

So - there I am for the next week! Christmas day, Boxing day and the 27th should all me NSD's so should beat my target of 6 by the end of December! Will be much stricter with myself next month and go for a higher target!!!

Have a great weekend all! Nat

  • Sounds like a plan! Definitely a week to be less hard on yourself! Gotta enjoy yourself at some point!! I think January will have to be a stricter month for me as well! I've been a bit lax with feeling poorly and Xmas but nothing too big that can't be rectified!! Today is the proper start of Present swapping so I'm getting a bit excited about getting some new things tonight!! :)

BIG fat apologies for not popping in sooner - just read your diary and pay issues - :( at work - but glad they're all sorted now!! :)

I'm with you on being a little relaxed this week - without going mad of course... just I know there is a few things I need to get myself in for the xmas period, but also wanted to be careful too!!!

Hope your OH's do went well?

    Hi Emms!

yeah - Oh is getting there, was too poorly to attend his crimbo do though, so that saved a few pennies!:T

Glad the pay got sorted - Its amazing what having the hump can achieve sometimes (it does help that one of my bosses is my ex!!);)

Almost done for crimbo now - only a few hamper bits to get and the food for us! Will wrap Oh's presents on christmas eve in the morning as he's at work and after a spot of housework the day is mine!!

Hope all is well your end?

Will write more to everyone later - better sdo some work. Only 14 hours and I'm outta here for the year!!

  • Sorry OH was so poorly - but well done you on seeing the positive side of it! :) No penny spend!!

LOL at having the hump!! Yes it can achieve lots ;) - but when they promise you pay - they should deliver!

I finished off sisters family hamper yesterday too!! Few chocolate coins in there and all done!! Just got a couple of random bits to get, which i'm being fussy over and may have to just get what the shop has tonight!!

I know what you mean on food for home - i'm pretty much out over xmas, but do want some of the xmas treats at home - not too fussed on naughty naughty goodies - but I do have a Twiglets obsession... always have

Do you finish tomorrow too then? Me too!! Can't wait!!

    xx

    Hi Everyone!

Well it has reached that time of the afternoon when I really cannot be bothered to do anymore, so I thought I would take the opportunity to write a slightly longer note on here!

    So - a little update
    • Crimbo shopping is all but finished. A couple of hamper bits and I'm done. Just OH's bits to wrap christmas eve morning when he's at work
    • OH is much better and back at work. Being poorly makes him grumpy so for his own sake it is good he is getting better!;)
    • Food shopping for crimbo either this evening or tomorrow evening.
    • Few pressies to deliver - tonight or tommorw eve
    • Housework christmas eve morning - then the rest of the day is mine - ALL MINE!
    • A little extra cash in my purse as didn't attend OH's work do owing to him being poorly bunny. If he hadn't have looked sooo rough I think he may have gone, but he looked like a boggle eyed frog!:rotfl:
    • 11 working hours and then thats it for the year!
    • Present to buy for wedding we're attending on New Years Eve (married on NYE!! I ask you!?)
    • Would like to find something from the sales to wear to mentioned wedding - will then add it to the pile of 'occaision dresses' to ebay in the new year!
    • Paypal money to withdraw to cover nights stay at wedding venue. Just no point trying to get anywhere after the event as it will be late and I don't fancy our chances of getting a cab!
    • Money from parents will buy me a new wardrobe. Haven't bought clothes for sooo long (even before my LBM) so will try and kit me and maybe OH out for the year ahead! (money not in my budget so I won't miss it!)
    • Oh and enjoy a nice and chilled crimbo day!!!
Well, thats it from me for the day! Still don't fancy doing any work, so going to wander around and have a chat with a few peeps! lol
