    Morning all

Just dashing this off while DD eats toast. I just cant seem to fill her up at the moment. Of to town in a minute to the local market. Need to investigate the price of fruit and veg as we are getting through tonnes. WM on with nappies again and doing beds later. This afternoon doing some baking. DH friend didnt come in the end last night so its the Pizza for tea that they didnt eat last night, god know whats for lunch and I've had toast for breakie.

TM Hope it is just an allergic reaction. My DD got into the habit of waking at 3am when she was teething, shes now stopped but I keep waking up at 3am now

PP Have a good time at your sisters sound like you'll be eating well, don't let your mother get you down.

Endbody I've missed ((hugs)) if you need them and have a good day

  • Morning all :hello:

    Hope everyone is well today.

TM - hope your little one is feeling better - glad it does not seem to be c'pox

PP - did you get your DD to clean her room - my OH DD2 (12 now) is actually quite a tidy little madam - love cleaning and she keeps their room spotless -even loves helping you hoover, polishing, mop floors and bake - the hormones I think are just kicking in and if she turns the way her sister went god help us all.

Lillibet - hope you had a lovely birthday yesterday

Pookie - bet your looking forward to your lovely evening ;)

Weather is lovely here today - will hang washing out to dry.

Bathroom cleaned last night - just general clean of house today or tomorrow (as OH is off today but working tomorrow)

Am planning to make my own bread next week - no BM just me - does anyone have any tips.

    B - toast or cereal
L - tuna pasta (made as 1130pm last nite as OH DS was hungry so made large bowl and told everyone that lunch was sorted for today)
D - Chinese curry (HM using Curry Sauce Mix) and Egg Fried Rice (HM)

Off to surf a little now - Junior's backside is itching to go on computer but him and father hogged it last night so they will all have to wait as I have a lot to catch up on

Take care all and have a lovely day

    Love

I had a lady come over and she did a cooking demo. Made Mexican chicken ring and waffle berrie budding was all really nice. She used the cooking tools made by pampered chef.

Woohoo! I got a job interview!

In actual fact I got the email about it on Wednesday but haven't been checking :o which is totally unlike me :o

If I get it, it'll be about the same or possibly a little bit more money - and working for an organisation I've been really interested in for a while :j :j

The interview's only half an hour from current office and is at 4pm on Tuesday, so I can tell my boss I'm going to the doctor :p

Ticklemouse - chickenpox comes in all shapes and sizes, me and my sister had it really badly for two weeks and it left us with long-term health problems; my brother missed two days of school, and that wasn't cos he was ill, just contagious!

Must go and get in the shower now - off out in 40 minutes.

Thanks for all your concern about DS2. I've just stripped his PJ's off and had a good look but he's very indignant that they've all gone :D

MrTM is currently wandering round telling me he was right, he's not overweight. I had the scales out and was weighing everyone so made him get on. He's whooping cos he says I'm disappointed he's an OK weight for his height. Hmm - he's 6ft1 and weighs 16 st 11lb  I've just checked and that puts him with a BMI of 31 and in the obese category. However, he'll only tell me (like last time) that I've just picked a site that gives skewed results and it's wrong :D Whatever, it's his life and if he wants serious health problems in later life, I've done as much as I can over the past few years to help him. And he can't claim it's all muscle - cos it definately ain't;)

I'm actually within my healthy weight, but still want to lose more (still be within my healthy weight tho')

Looks like Mr TM will be taking the boys out (probably having junk for lunch in a greasy caff too) so I may get a couple of hours to myself. Must get DS2 dressed - PJ bottoms are not suitable for a cold January morning in town :D

    Morning

ive been awake for a while but I was watching discovery science about the formation of the world and browsing the net looking at holiday destinations dreaming of being able to actually go.

Im feeling really miserable today, probably because its the weekend and it means its nearly time to go back to work (which I dont really want to do). Ive come to the conclusion that the only reason I dont like work is because my boss is temperamental and sometimes difficult, and because I look forward to payday, only for the money to be spent immediately on bills and the odd piece of furniture and then im skint for the entire month and its a long time to go without anything fun - it just drags. This is mainly caused by my stupid boyfriend too - we have been in this house for 5 months and he hasnt found a job yet, much less even tried to look. He barely does anything around the house and wont even make himself lunch, he'd rather eat every packet of crisps in the house waiting for me to get home from work so he can have something cooked for him. He always breaks something around the house too, its almost like he has no respect for anything in this place, much less me. Im losing respect for him and am not sure if we will be together for much longer, I just cant be bothered with him anymore, it would be easier to be on my own.

Anyway, I wont rant! My chicken soup turned out excellent last night and the second loaf was lovely! Lunch today is something on home made bread and ill put it on again tomorrow for a white sandwich loaf, its roast day tomorrow too so monday lunch is roast chicken sandwiches. YUM!

This evening will probably be cod in parsley sauce and baby new pots with veg, and the boyf can eat cat food for all I care, I intend to take myself out for most of this afternoon.

Hope you all have a lovely day!

    Jo xx
