I have been spending most of today helping DH with exam scripts and preparing for DD's 12th birthday today so I missed all the hooha!

Glad curry queen has got moved in and really love to hear from Queenie and Penny pincher, MATH and a whole load of others.

I seem to be getting over the virus and feel much less fuzzy headed.

DD had a great birthday and look forward to hearing from you all tomorrow.

Big Hug to everybody ( after the comment about the smilies I am not posting the group hug again lol)

    Afternoon

Queenie-TBH, Im a little upset by your post. I think you do a grand job and always know your going to give sound advice too any questions people post here on OS...you have fantastic knowledge and always willing to help..your truly a treasure :D.....but, I find your post today difficult to digest and has totally confused/thrown me as to how to reply to comments made by you

I feel in some way that your comments are personally directed to me as I seem to describe daily how im feeling for that (normally not good LOL) particular day. I try to keep positive and explaining how im feeling-puts some prospective to the day and gives me something to focus on and improve. I dont want pity or sympathy, but maybe empathy...knowing Im not the only one having a bad day IYKWIM. It helps to support one another, but I think from now on it maybe better if I stop posting how I feel, as the last thing I want to do is offend someone...specially you hun ;)

    No offence intended.

Awww, bless her, that's absolutely gorgeous. Sorry for the confusion yesterday, I thought I was missing something very odd - turns out I was, it was my brain. :o

    Morning peeps

Well, we may or may not have chicken pox in the House of Mouse  DS2 has woken up bright as a button, eaten his brekkie and appears to me almost spot free. They must have been hives, but I don't know what he's been in contact with that made them do that. Anyway, here's hoping. I'll keep an eye on him. He's still waking in the later evening, drenched in sweat and crying his little eyes out, but don't know if that's because he feels ill or because he's got himself in to a habit.

Anyway, was a bit naughty last night and had some choccy raisins, but that's not too bad overall. (and they contain fruit :rotfl:)

Today I shall be keeping an eye on DS2 and just generally getting on with 'chores'. Need to put BM on again later and washing baskets have magically filled up again :D I've the chicken stock to sieve and freeze and lots of plums to cook down or maybe just freeze uncooked - will investigate this. Other than that, who knows what the day will bring. Still dark here so don't know what the weather's going to be like.

OK, off for a surf whilst I eat my porridge.

Hope everyone's well and (((hugs))) to those in need

    I started the OS thread today !!!!!! :j :j :j

And I am up late, so what has happened to you guys??????

DD4 is much better - although is very tierd. She has only been awake for half an hour and has fallen asleep on the floor!

Anyway, today is Library to return books, going to leisure centre to buy an options card (gives you discount on your attendances), to the dance shop to look for ballet shoes - found some cheap ones on Ebay, but I want to price up the dance shops cheap ones to see what I am actually getting for my money.

I am getting inundated with spoof emails from ebay scammers. I have had 4 already this morning. Its getting daft and annoying.

This afternoon is to tidy the girls room. Its a mess and they are unable to tidy it (lazy and lazy really). So I am going in there to sort it out. Ebay, freecycle and bin methinks. Give it a damn good clean and then it leaves them with no excuse.

    Anyway,

    Have a nice day everyone!!!!

EDIT: Yes, I know, TM pipped me at the post. I went away and sulked. She ripped my dreams of starting the thread from me and I was traumatised.

  • Morning TM and everyone else:hello:

TM-glad it might not be chicken pox!! Hope you have a great day.

    Been up since 3.30.

WM on and will be dried on airer. DW was emptied last night by DD:D Toilet cleaned. House all clean and shiny from yesterday.

Today we are off to my sisters for the day. She is a real OS and has made cakes, biscuits, sausage rolls and a quiche (bet its not as good as mine;) though). She is cooking a roast beef meal which is normally delish with the full works and HM trifle for pudding. Will get to see the nephew(9) and niece(5) and have a small pressy each im taking which I bought from Asda last week for £1 each. Will also see me mother:eek: Wont be staying too late as our heater isnt working very good in the car and is an hrs drive.

Made a huge chilli last night and portioned into 8 bags for the freezer leaving enough for the weekends supply on a baked potatoe:D In the end last night we had HM chips and OH & I-had Scampi, with onion rings and peas. DD had 2 eggs poached and of course bread and butter.

Tomorrow afternoon I have DD's friend coming over to play. Havent decided what to do to it yet as some kids are so fussy, but may do another roast (which we normally have on a sunday) as most kids know what this is and will eat it.

Just about to have a bath and have eaten a croissant for breakie with some water as my tummys abit weird this morning.

    Breakie:Croissant and jam
    Lunch:HM Chilli and Spud
    Tea:Roast Beef dinner

Anyways, best go. Have a great day.

TM - Glad your DS seems better this morning. My DS2 had chickenpox twice and thankfully DS1 and DD had it as well (DD and DS2 had it last summer). I had it when I was 28 and was really poorly  !!

    MrsB - Congrats to you!!

Lillibet - Hope your b-day was fun!

Queenie - Hope you have a lovely weekend.

Have to take DS1 swimming in an hour so will have a little surf on here then go and get ready.

Will prob have home-made burgers today which OH will make and I'll prob do some buns in the breadmaker.

    Have a good day all!
