Aaaaah i just didnt want to get up this morning :(
Alarm went off at 7am, got up and had a shower, then set my alarm and went back to bed :D Got back up at 7.45am, luckiy i had been organised and made my lunch last night, so just had to throw some clothes on and stick some products in me hair, and do my make up once i got to work!

B - Nothing, no time! Rather sleep than eat :D
L - Pork from last night in a roll
D - Using pork from last night, make some fajhitas YUM!!!

Got loads of washing to do :( Piles and piles!!! Banned myself from using the washing machine though, so it will all have to be very organised to have enough time on the radiators!

I gave up jogging for my health when my thighs kept rubbing together and setting fire to my knickers

Hello fellow OSers and any other lurkers who may be, well, lurking out there :D :hello:

Bit of a mad rush this morning getting boys to schools. Went to get DS1's pump bag, then remembered it had fallen to bits so I'd binned it. Luckily he won't have PE today, and a carrier bag will suffice until I get a new one.

Had a bad night too (this isn't one-upmanship, honest :D) DS2 has taken to waking in the middle of the night and coming in to me, which keeps me awake. Last night it was 4am - when the BM switched itself on. It's so squeaky (sorry :)) that the sound travels around the house now :( Must try and sort it out or ring Russell Hobbs, before it's out of guarantee.

Today I had to take mum to a massive fireplace shop, where she umm'd and ahh'd about what she wanted - needless to say it's completely changed  Had to race back, pick up some its from Tesco then collect DS2 from pre-school. However, my friend has taken him - useful for her as he plays so well with her DS2 that she can get on with some jobs :D So, I have until about 3pm to myself.

Day 1 of detox going well. Made lots of fresh fruit salad last night. Already have rice milk in, so brekkie was rice milk porridge with fruit and a cup of white tea. Lunch has just been rice cakes and peanut butter plus lots of fruit salad and green tea. Tea for me will be a tofu or quorn stir fry and brown basmati rice. Before you all wonder why I am putting myself through it, I have to say I enjoy eating all of the above :D

Tea for the others will be steak and mushroom pie (meat cooking as I type) with mash and steamed veg.

(((hugs)))to PP and moggins, and MATH too. However, it's completely destroyed the sexy, sahd with the twinkle in his eye image that I had of you previously, knowing you wear a Jack Duckie type DG and slipper sox :rotfl: ps Hope your specs have the obligatory elastoplast on them? :D

Off to make the most of 2 hours of freedom :D Oooooh, the possibliites.....then again, the bathrooms all need cleaning and the kitchen needs another tidy and I'd best make the pastry for this 'ere pie....

    Luv

    Hi everyone
It's a bits and pieces day today. We spent most of the weekend sorting out the loft looking for jumble for a sale we're helping out this coming Saturday. I usually end up bringing back loads of bargains from there so here's hoping. OH have gone to see the building society today re the mortgage so shall see how that pans out. Spent last night altering trousers for the small person that I got in the sales and which I hope to finish tonight. Not done much domestic stuff today other than sorting out the recycling as caught up on all the washing and ironing yesterday. Will be having gammon with HM pineapple and pepper relish tonight. Off to see a friend this evening.
    Have a good day everyone

Along with almost all of you it seems, I too am feeling lousy and had a bad night  I was supposed to be at work today but I just don't feel well enough to face five classes of children, I havn't the energy.

I am still in my pj's and dressing gown, with a hot water bottle and duvet wrapped around me :p Its helping a bit but I can't help feeling bad about missing work as I am on a reduced timetable of two days anyway, it sucks when yiu can't even manage two days!! What makes it worse is sometimes I feel fine and can go about like normal them suddenly i'm in bed and can't move, grrrrr.

Anyway, I must consult the meal planner to find out what is on the books for tea tonight, it probably needs taking out of the freezer. OH is having bacon and sausage and toast for lunch, I can't face eating so I will wait until later.

I might read a bit more Sharon Osbourne in a bit, its such a sad story. I have to finish OH's application form too, he has got so far but is getting fed up with the statement stuff so I said i'd have a go.

Hugs to those who need them, have a great day :j

    Afternoon All!

Just thought I should stop lurking completely ... ;)

A rubbish nights sleep here also, obviously something in the water! In my case it was a combination of dd, too much caffeine and both DH and I have coughing fits taking hours to sort out.

On the up-side, I started back at work this morning, first day since 16/12/05!
The up-side being what exactly I'm not sure, but it was an up-side!

Brekkie - porridge done in the m/wave for the 1st time. Now could someone tell me why I've always religiously soaked it overnight for the past 16yrs?

Lunch - soup (was sausage and butterbean casserole in a former life!) and bread with scraping of butter in a vague attempt to be diet-conscious

Tea - Lamb chops marinated in yoghurt with cumin/coriander seeds/cinnamon/cloves with cous cous

Exercise - walked to Morrisons and bought yoghurt, then a quick flick around the library and charity shops for books. Which also meant that for a change I had a proper lunch break and some fresh air.

Happily I found the Richard Mabey "Food for Free" book in the library, so I am a really happy bunny.

Over the w/e I sat down and working out our monthly budget, you know the one where I realise that our outgoings are way in excess of our income!

That's the problem with having had a baby with a yr off on maternity leave, going back to work p/t where you were f/t with o/t ... and not re-evaluating the budget ... 2yrs later and oops!

All in all, you lot are an inspiration! So, thank you! :T

It will make my life easier and I dont have to use it all the time...but just so p*ssed off!!!! I find it so frustrating and at 31, never thought it would be like this

    Why me

    (((((PP)))))

Come on, chin up love. I know you have it really tough with your medical conditions, but when you feel like this you need to remind yourself of the good things you have too. From what I can tell you have:

    1) A loving dh who would do anything for you
    2) A beautiful and loving dd who obviously adores you
    3) A lovely home, of which you are rightly very proud
    4) A loving and supportive family
    5) The ability to climb the stairs sometimes even if you cant do it every time.

And that's just the things I've picked up from your posts.

I'm not trying to be funny or anything, just trying to remind you to focus on the positive.

Take care of yourself, have a cry if it makes you feel better, then pick yourself up (mentally speaking!) and get dh to give you a hug and put the kettle on.

    Hope you're feeling better soon.
I'd rather be a could-be if I cannot be an are; because a could-be is a maybe who is reaching for a star. I'd rather be a has-been than a might-have-been, by far; for a might have-been has never been, but a has was once an are – Milton Berle
