Managed to have a lie in this morning which was nice as I needed to catch up on sleep. I decided to lie in and not have the alarm on and see when I naturally wake up. I didnt wake up until 10am so it shows how tired I was.

Wrote out a cheque for the B&B in London we are staying in in March. We are meeting Gary Numan after his gig at about 2am in the morning and need somewhere to flake out afterwards. So I picked the cheapest b&b there was nearest the gig in Camden which came to £35 for a double room. So it wasnt too bad :T

Later I will be getting a few things I need from town and then I plan to watch a DVD I got for xmas.

    Hi everyone

Finally got to bed at 3 this morning, and just as I was going up the stairs, baba started inconsolably crying and was like it for about 30mins, finally got him to go down, then I was back wide awake  god knows what time I went to sleep. Baba decided we needed to get up at 7:30 folowed half an hour later by DS1.

I have put the gammon joint in to soak, forgot to do it last night, and will be putting that in for about 4.Have done the left over pots from breckie, now I have to put the computer dest back up now the xmas tree has been moved, Oh can finally have his PC back and get off my lappy. :T

Going to get one or two loads done in the WM, find a hidden place to store all of baba's toys and dust. I feel really refreshed today but still can't be bothered doing much. Gonna leave the majoraty of the cleaning till tommorow when OH is off work.

    B- cereal and fruit juice
L- "picnic" (sandwich, cucumber, tomatoes and crisps)

The sun holidays-how do they work  there is 3 of us and need a holiday. Whats the total cost etc? Do you have to pay for passes?
PP we went on our first Sun holiday in October, I would definately recommend them, I'm saving the coupons this time for a 4 day break in April or May. There's only 3 of us so we had to pay £38, we also paid £36 to the holiday park for service charge and entertainment passes but the holiday was worth the total of £74. The service & entertainment charge is different depending on which park you go to, some of them are free. There's a list of all the parks and extra charges here:
    http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2005600564,00.html

My hubby is disabled and the park we went to was very "disabled friendly", everything was on the flat or had ramps so he didn't have to use his wheelchair (we'd taken it just in case), I should imagine all the parks are the same. The only steps he had to manage were the ones into the caravan!

    Hi everyone!

Took DS1 to his swimming lesson this morning then took him to the bakery before we came home. It's nice for me and him to do stuff together sometimes!

Came home and DH had made a lasagne and also cooked loads of sausages and plantain for brunch- so that's todays food sorted! :j

Have a Tesco shop coming this afternoon, we were supposed to go out but the weather is so awful we won't bother. I'm glad actually otherwise we would have ended up spending some money, this way we can stay in, watch a few dvd's and eat some popcorn!

    See ya x

They must have put something in the water. I also had a really good nights sleep. Went to bed at 11:30 (early for me) and didn't wake up until 8:30:j

Yesterdays washing which was on the airer (I can;t believe how many of you are taking my name in vain - that pesky PP has a lot to answer for:p :D ) has now been ironed. Todays washing is done and slowly steaming up my windows.

The MATHLETTS have gone of to Grandma's and Mrs MATH is out sourcing card stock for her card making. Later we will pick up the MATHLETS and go to see our oldest and closest friends who only live 30 miles away yet we havn't seen them for 18 months:o They rang earlier in the week and demanded we go for dinner tonight! The MATHLETTS and the FRIENDLETTS will slope off and out minds will drift back to gentler times trying to remember just how did we used to do the STOMP in those platforms:eek: Ohh I'm feeling quite social now. :j (that's me stomping!)

While I'm in the mood I think I will ring some of our other friends who live in Lincoln and arrange to visit them during Feb half term. Am I in danger of becoming a social butterfly? hehehehe

    Have a good day

Got up about an hour ago and have already devoured a big bowl of frosties and 2 slices of toast lathered with butter!! My plan to watch what i eat is soooooo out the window!

Went to bed about 4:30am this morning.. just didnt wanna leave the kitchen half done! Even organised under my sink and other cupboards including stacking my tupperware boxes in neat piles instead of just chucked in like usual! Something is definetely wrong with me! :rotfl:

Just a few little things to finish off today like hoovering up half the xmas tree thats from the living room to the back yard! Was fighting with it at midnight last night cos it wouldnt even fit through the doors!!!! Forgot it was all netted when it got took IN to the living room! Will need bringing through again when i can convince my dad to take it to recycled... but to be honest i might be better leaving it in the yard to die! :o:o:( As it means bothering my dad who im not on fantastic terms with at the moment and also i havent got my own hoover! :rotfl: I borrow my mums when it needs doing.. and she needs it back today as ive had it since before xmas :o When i get some money i really need to buy myself one! Along with a washing machine!! So i dont have to send my washing to my mums too be done aswell! :o

Was going to go shopping with my mum and family to supermarket but dads wanted to go early so he can watch the football  And i wasnt out of bed so told mum it didnt matter as i wasnt jumping up and rushing in the cold to theirs just so he could put everyone elses routine out so he can watch the football!! Nothing reeeally essential i need anyway so will go to sainsburys tomorrow or monday!

Suppose the upside is i now dont have to go to my nans! :j Sounds horrible that but shes a little grumpy old witch and i cant stand her.. and she cant stand me! Pulls everything I do.. or say... or wear... or have to bits!! She is the only person i know who can have me wanting to cry before ive even got my coat off when i visit her! She even turned the "happy new year" conversation on the phone that i was forced to make into a bringing me down talk! It was only literally 5 minutes into 2006!! So the less i see of her this year the better!

Ah well all this chatter means less work..... off to put my prodigy CD on and annoy my neighbours! :rotfl:

Well, we ended going to Asda & Aldis. Only took 1hr from start to finish so not too bad..lol. Got a few bargains in Asda. Top reduced to £3, trainers for DD £4, gloves 50p, eerrmm....digibox £20 :o ....lets move on swiftly :rotfl: we thought the digibox may work out a good deal as we currently have sky+ and pay £36 pm  this is our only luxury. So will see how we get on with it for next few weeks, then we can cancel sky :D Got quite a few toys, art gifts and electric games reduced to £1.50 so have put those in pressie box for 2006. Also picked up 2 books/cartridges for a Leappad learning book for niece and nephew. 1 Spongebob squarepants and the other Cat in the hat-were £14.97 reduced to £3.97 each :T there birthday pressies sorted for 2006 too. Aldis-only spent £27 and got all me tins stuff for the month plus loads of other bits(beans, tomatoes, kidney beans, raviolli, sweetcorn, peas (for HM fish and chips), pasta sauce, bread x 8, cakes, crisps, butter, coleslaw, ham, cheese, milk, minced lamb, bacon, eggs, packed lunch biccies for DD, lemonade, deodrant, yogurts...a few more bits but cant remember  Asda have their Heinz soups 3 tins for £1...so buy 3 tins and save 77p.

Clothes now on MATH and nearly dry. Floors downstairs swept and quick mop. Toilet cleaned. Had lunch. I had baked spud with coleslaw and cheese. DD & OH had tomatoe soup with bread and butter. Kitchen all clean and tidy and sides wiped etc.

I am absolutely knackered, but am determind to still clean glass shades in lounge and clear out at least one of the drawers in dresser.

It has been snowing here on and off all morning but not settling :D and is bloomin cold!

Cooking dinner for MIL & FIL  only basic but theyve not been well and have been feeding them most of the week. Just doing Pie, mash and cabbage with onion/mushroom gravy....so not anything fancy but wholesome and better than the process crap they normally eat. DD has made 2 lots of jelly with fruit too. Dont want them here so will parcel it up and OH & DD can take it to them, they only live a few doors away.

Window cleaning with vinegar-I usually just use vinegar and paper, but OH used to do window cleaning, so outside he usually uses soapy water with his blade. Maybe once every 6 months he does the insides like this too, bit tend to do my inside windows weekly, but am abit obsessive with cleaning :o

Received my ING account number today and new account number for the A&L account which ive just opened

Anyways, better go do me jobs with OH's assistance and will report back later.

    Over and out.

    Good afternoon

Glad to hear of some better nights sleep.

Not too busy today: went shopping this morning, bought birthday present for niece; carrots, bananas & mushrooms from market - less than £2; and 1 loaf of bread in tesco. Also went to the library & got out some books on losing weight.....
Still not done my menu planner, but have checked through freezer & have enough main course bases to last until after payday.

Washing is done & hanging in airing cupboard (DH won't allow a MATH-style airer, cos of condensation) In the airing cupboard - which is big & has the CH boiler in it, he can't see it, and what the eye can't see... etc

Must go & get cleaning finished. Also DS is in from his Saturday job & probably wants food.

    I've been Money Tipped!
At last I can breath properly again! Still got a cold but now my temperature is down I can at least potter about a bit. House is a tip and heaps of washing to do  but will catch up eventually. Then there will be heaps of ironing!

Chipps - brilliant idea about putting the airer (MATH) in the airing cupboard! We too have only the new boiler in there and oh is fed up with the large airer being in the bedroom. It is on wheels so easy to pull out if needed.

Just thinking that with us both being ill we may have missed most of the sale bargains! Is it me or has anyone else noticed that the January sales now begin just before Christmas day and are all but over before the 2nd week of January!

Got to get both the sc and the bm going. First washload done (only another 5 to go!)
Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.
