Good Morning all. Hope you don't mind me joining you. :coffee:
I decided that this year I was going to tackle my house as it is a complete mess, full of clutter. I made a start on Wednesday when the kids went back to school and spent 5 hours cleaning my bathroom. I cleaned all the tiles and every nook and cranny, now it is sparkling and I feel terribly proud of myself. The kids have been warned. Going to give it a quick wipe over again tomorrow just to keep on top of it.
Yesterday I started cleaning my bedroom. That is going to take quite a few days to do as I haven't really tackled it in years. So far I have only done my wardrobe and a couple of draws and have thrown out 3 bags of rubbish. Feeling on top of the world as we are all hoarders in my house and I am having no more of it.
I have got shopping to do today and loads of ironing that has been neglected but will continue with the bedroom tomorrow.
So, onwards and upwards with the tidying.

Morning all, up and ready to go, bed stripped for the washer tonight, have a short delicate load on which can be dried on hangers......also have taken down the filing system which needs all last years bills etc taken out and put in the box ready to go into the attic, then shoul have a nice EMPTY filing box ready for this years stuff..... have been wanting to do it for ages, just one of those jobs that got shoved to the back of the cupboard....
Home made fish and chips for supper tonight..............
Horrid dank dark, day again means OH will sit in his chair and glower all day..........
Train tickets arrived this morning for our WA trip next month, have to collect the eurostar stuff at Waterloo when we check in.... so good job we have a good time lapse between trains to allow for tube transfers etc......
Glad to hear you had a better night PP. OH has started to take the medication for his 'other' neck problem, so hopefullly he will not be quite so miserable......I went to the chemist yesterday to pick up a prescription that was put into the surgery on Tuesday, it still was not there, come back tomorrow, no way said I I come to the shops once a week and THATS IT.......... good job I still have enough to last until the next time I go up. Our surgery really is the pits, but its the only one we cannot change none of the surgeries in the surrounding area will take us on.......believe me we have tried.....
Right I am off to get a coffee and tackle the filing..... have a good day.......

Morning everyone
Managed to post in the morning today. Dont hate me all those with children but DD(1) has been sleeping from 7pm until 9am on average for the last 3 weeks dont know why, unfortunately she is going to be in for a shock on Monday when I go back to work and shes going to have to be at grandmas for 8am. Today we are going into town as its the last day of Littlewoods closing down sale and apparently everything is being sold including the fixtures and fittings so I'm going to try and get a mobile stock rail for when I do car boots in the summer. Primark is opening in its place can hardly wait :j.
Apart from that got to go to MIL to get the travel cot back as now the tree gone we can put it back up to use as a play pen i have missed it so much cant even turn round without DD being at my feet.
Breakie: Weetabix and :coffee: for me
Lunch: Soap and a roll
Tea: Fajitas (going to try DD with it with no Fajita mix on)

Morning peeps!
Had a very long sleep myself last night, and feeling suitably refreshed from it all. Ive plenty to be getting on with anyway, today im cleaning the flat from top to bottom as its a bit grubby and im feeling inspired by Johanne's mission yesterday, and then the boyf is going to make dinner this evening
Ive decided he needs to learn how to do tasks around the house, so, there was a rather nice 'one pot' recipe in the healthy living booklet tesco sent me (salmon - yum!) that I thought he could manage by himself (with supervison of course!). I went to tesco and bought a weeks worth of food (came in just under my £35 weekly target! :T ) including loads of stuff for me to batch cook for work lunches which should last about two weeks.
At some point I also need to go and purchase some play-doh as I have to do the '10to9' on Monday & Tuesday (brief meeting) and am having a fun one on Monday then do Business results on Tuesday. Im also going to do some reading for work (am actually quite enthused about it at the moment) to brush up on my knowledge and see if I can finish some modules by Tuesday so I can get out of probation ASAP.
Anyway - I need another :coffee: before I tackle the mess - and still need to take down the :xmastree:
Hope you all have a good day!

I also need to go to Tesco for a food shop and pick up a library book. Have washed 1 load of clothes and will do another.

Morning all
had long lie today as day off (still got up at 630 to put OH out door and make his lunch) but me and youngest cat went back to bed. have managed to give YC her tablets without any problem for the last 2 days - on the first day I got scratched as OH said you hold her and I will put them in her mouth - men - yesterday she sits on sink waiting for her food - I spoke to her - she opened her mouth to yam at me and I popped tablet in her mouth then repeated again - job done
WM is on at the moment with darksf - will attempt to hang outside for some airing then finish on airer.
Broth mixture soaking for HM soup in SC overnight
Ribs soaking in water to reduce salt.
Vegs will be prepped this afternoon
B - coffee
L - toasted sandwich
D - stir fry chicken and noodles - ended up with Fajitas last night
Will attempt to make some Oaty Biscuits from the recipe thread today
DW is nearly empty - usually only put this on every 2 -3 days unless Stepkids are staying then it is every day.
I am now going to collect up the socks that the eldest cat has deposited around the house - she does then when they are on the airer - you can hear her calling when she drags them down the stairs - I think that she thinks they are her babies
Have a great day all
Love

not feeling so down today and feeling lots more motivated.
dp and I had a chat last night and now I feel a bit happier about our relationship, he was thinking of getting us a couple of glider lessons each, but I have asked for driving lessons instead, as he works most days, so its really hard for me to take the kids anywhere on the bus. Lots of other things discussed, but wont go into detail.
So today is lots of house work and am going to ask dp to take us to aldi in the local town to see if I can stock up on a few things, gonna go for a nice countryside walk as well. Dp just gone into town to do the banking inc kids xmas pennies, I still have £20 for them in my isa which I will transfer over when I get into town next weds. Would of gone in with dp, but forgot to turn on t/d so My trousers weren't dry
Managed to trip over in style last night tripped over would of saved my self but caught my toe in the bottom of my trousers and hence went flying, so look like I have been in a fight with a huge scratch down one are bruising all down the other managed to catch my knuckle so lookks like I've been hiiting a wall, plus one knee very bruised and sore the other not so much and a large swollen toe from where I caught it  . Can't believe I did so much damage and Have no idea howdp must of tried so hard not to pee himself laughing, although I was kinda lucky as was carrying a load of plates at the time and only managed to break 1 :rotfl:
Alison B - have you looked at flylady.net she has a really good system and it really works when you stick to it :rotfl:

Morning all
Well, OH and I have just cleaned the house. I'm exhausted as I was in charge of the living room and hoovering all rooms. The Christmas Tree is now sat outside the front door waiting to be taken to the local recycling place minus all the needles that I vacced up off the floor!
My Boots parcel turned up yesterday too (OH brought it back from work with him) :j :j. By the time I got on the Boots sale website, there wasn't much left but I got some presents for birthdays this year, which saves a bit of money. The dipping oils sets are in the wardrobe, whilst the rest of them are in a box in the garage. Unfortunately we got two play "airports" for our godson and a friend's child - one of the aeroplanes is so sensitive that when we pick the box up, it makes a noise like an aeroplane. The batteries will be flat by the time we give them these pressies!!!
Need to go to Tesco and pick up our minimal amounts of shopping. However, it's OH's turn to pay so I've put a couple of things on there that aren't completely necessary but that we need at some stagelike tins of tomatoes for pasta sauces.
OH is going to Spain on Monday for his work, so I've planned a couple of evenings of beans on toast and an omlette. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
Have a good day everyone!
