Thanks for that, didn't what to start going on with myself and get done for being off topic, maybe thats why I rarely leave the arms

Not done much today, school run, then did 3 hours of ironing (small business I set up whil pregnant) did a whizz around my kitchen after last night, I decided I wanted a full xmas dinner so I made turkey and veg, HM yories (bit bland think i put to much flour in) and garlic stuffing. Loved it.

Grudgingly when to pick DS1 up from school and have been on here since. Got to go do the shopping when OH gets home, planning on buying a few joints of meat instead of having packaged foods, I made a boiled joint of ham last week and it was beautiful, it was only asdas smartprice one as well. Think I will also get some beef and a chicken.

I really fancy steak for tea but can't decide how to have it, was thinking of smearing it with cheese, garlic and a bit of butter and rolling it up but can't think how to cook it yet.

Might have an early night tonight, not really woke up from this morning, get in bed with a hot chocolate and my college books (well I'm gonna have to start soon )

Your all gonna wish I never found this thread, because once I start talking I can't stop. Well you can see that from my post count.

    Evening All,

Am about to sit down for dinner, made some yummy smelling falfel type thingys so am hoping they taste good too. Having them with a mixed salad.

Kids have had cereal - weird or what. Am I the only one who's kids request shreddies for tea??? Too tired to do anything else today anyway so not bothered by it

Tonight I am going to TRY and have a bath. I say try because as soon as one of the kids realise where I am its all over. 3 kids and mum in the bath together just dont fit! I fancy a nice hot soak with a good book and a wee drinky.

Nothing too strenuous planned for the weekend, driving lesson tomorrow and then I'll hit ALDI/LIDL and Iceland. Apparently Iceland have some cheap cheap cheap bits at the mo all reduced to silly prices so HAVE to pop in.

    Right, off to eat,
    Night all,
    Al.

    CONGRATULATIONS Mrs B

    oh, and MrB too... :D

MATH - are you saying that your parents indulged in naughties? I am shocked.

I know my parents never did and I tell my 23 siblings the same too. I have to admit that I know my paternal grandparents did have one moment of intense friendship. My grandma always wanted a daughter as well as my dad, but that obviously would have involved erm..... talking to my granddad

    Evening all :hello:

    MrsB - Congratulations to you and MrB! :j :j :j :j :j :j :j

It's the end of the week: bliss! OH has text me to say that he's going to the pub with a couple of work colleagues before driving home (don't worry, he'll be having orange juice), so I'm watching Flog it again. :D I've also "accidentally" eaten some chocolate that was in the cupboard, but it'll keep me going until he gets back home :D:D:D and we can have Tuna Napolitana. I think someone else on here is having it too!

OH and I watched part of that programme that tries to get rid of a family's mortgage within two years last night. We were highly unimpressed, but OH kept on saying "the thing that I like about Martin is that he's not so extreme". :D :j :j :j wooohoooo! An MSE convert!

I need to take down the Christmas tree tonight, which I do not want to do. At least it'll give us a bit more space in the living room. The Christmas cards will have to come down tomorrow and will be taken to Tesco tomorrow when we go shopping for recycling. We've got loads of other bits to sort out for recycling, but I don't want to leave the comfort of the sofa to venture into the cold garage!

Plenty of washing to do, so I'll read the paper (Times Eat out for £5 offer has started now :j :j) and think about starting to do the jobs!

    Take care all.
    Vicky

  • Mrs B - how wonderful. <<big hug>>

I have some news of my own, ahem, I HAVE GOT THE JOB AT THE HOSPITAL. :xmassign: I currently am on a pro rata of £14,600 p.a. (that would be for 37 hpw and I do 32.5) - I will be for a 37 hr wk on £16,994!!!!!! hurrah hurrah hurrah! This means I can pay the mortgage and the bills and the food budget out of my wages and the money Mr Rage gets for stacking shelves at ASda at night can (a) be used to pay off debts accrued whilst renovating Chez Rage and (b) S-A-V-I-N-G-S!!!!! I am soooo happy we went for a celebratory trip to the local "kaf" (and yes, it is a "kaf" and not a cafe!!!) and I treated OH to a full english (yes, i know, I spoil that man!!) I had chips 'n' gravy. I have also had a bacardi and coke - my head hurts (gave up the drink when I thought I was "pulling a Mrs B!")................... I can't wait to give my notice in on Monday. They want me to start on 6.2.06 which means I get to have a night out at work's expense - the christmas do on 20.1.06 - and have told my colleague who will miss me but thinks it's fantastic and I can now quite happily and legitimately tell the awful dctor to "insert into rectal area"!!!! :j oooh happy days..............
But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green :D

My mum was always surprised that she was even thought of as her parents hardly ever spoke - even though they were married for just over 50 years!!!!
