    Morning

Still ill, and still at work. Yesterday I was told I can't be sick, today I'm told I should have organised cover so I could be off sick today. Could've said something yesterday, seeing as I was here till 5pm:mad:

Got to go out and get some medicine later, have lunch with me. Scoffing a satsuma at the mo, with a huge glass of water in front of me.

Was so annoyed last night. Went to bed really early as I get up at 4am, and sis and BIL come barging in at 9.40pm, knowing I'd be asleep. They set the dog off and I don't even get an apology. They make me so mad:mad::mad:

Hugs to everyone else who'd ill or just needs one

My soon to be step bro is picking up DD old cot and 2 stair gates later which I have managed to palm off on him as hes just become a grandad, they have been dismantled for about 2 years so thats another step in the right direction to a clutter free house. :j

Breakfast: egg on toast & fresh orange
    Lunch: bacon sanie
dinner: Cheese & onion pasties,(hope these taste ok as its the first time I have made them ) mash & veg

Have a sunny day all, catch you later

    Good Morning all,
Sorry to hear about your panic attack jw, horrible things aren't they.
Have fun in the South Zed42, hope everything gets resolved PP.
I've taken hubby to the station, got pork curry cooking in the slo cooker, left over from Sunday roast.
I'm still wading through all my old correspondence with the CSA & tonight I'm going to start preparing my case to present to them & my MP.
SS got paid yesterday & now only owes me £130, not bad as it was £440 just before Christmas. I'm still trying to sort out a bank account for him & his NI number, he lives part of the time with us & part with his Mum in Southern Ireland, which causes chaos!
Still, it's time I was at work, hope everyone has a good day. Blessings on you all.
    Sue

    Morning All,

Firstly, VIRTUAL HUGS to ALL OSers in need of one, there seems to be so much illness about at the mo. Everyone feeling under the weather for whatever reason I hope you feel better soon, look after yourselves xxx

Secondly - OMG OMG OMG - it has just really hit me that I have to pack up the house in prep for our move!!! Exchange date is Feb 24th and completion will prob be the week after that!! Am going to make lists today of what needs to come in the car with us (kettle, mugs, tea, coffee, portable tv for kids, a few toys). I also need to go through the bedrooms and see what we can live without for the next 6 weeks(ish) and pack that all away. Will be trying to eat from freezer (jampacked) and storecupboard (near jampacked) until we go as dont want to transport the food from one place to another and then have to put it all away when we get there. We dont have to unpack the freezer for transportation so I will make batches of HM ready meals intended for the first weeks in the new place.

DH back at work for the first time in 2 weeks today, weird waking to find him gone. He worked from home whilst dd had measles and then after the car accident too but had a replacement hire car delivered yesterday so is in the office today.

WM and BM both need to go on today. It just never ends does it?

Right, off to make some coffee (this decaf lark aint so bad) and sort clothes for kids.

    Chat later,
    Al.

    Morning everyone!!

Well, DS1 didn't do TOO badly last night without a pull-up. Lifted him at 10.30pm then went in again at 3am  he was wet - changed bed/him etc. He then decided he'd have a pull-up on - but that was dry when he got up at 6am! All in all, not bad for a 1st attempt! Don't know whether he'll want a pull-up on tonight - am going to leave it to him to decide!!

Well, DH has gone to work, DS1 & 2 are showered, dressed, teeth cleaned etc & so am I!!! Not due to go out until 8.30am!!

Got to put on the WM and DW before I go out. Packed lunches all prepared!! DH has just been very 'helpful' by throwing away about 6 pkts crisps that, although 2-3 weeks past their best before date, were absolutely fine!! Bang goes crisps with my sandwich for lunch then!!! What annoys me is that he NEVER clears out anything normally!!!!

At work until 2pm today, then pick-up DS1 from school & DS2 from nursery. Will probably pop into my sisters after school!

Dinner tonight will be jacket potatoes.

Shopping to be delivered tonight - hopefully will come in well under £50 - a 1st for me!!! Am using up my freezer contents this week - then plan to defrost it at the weekend!

Hope everyone has a good day!

    Good morning everyone!

I only post rarely, but I read everything almost every day, and your posts are a great inspiration to me to keep going with my moneysaving challenges - so thank you everyone!

The biggest successes in changing my spending patterns have been through meal planning and just not going shopping for things other than food as far as possible!

I have decided that the family has more than enough clothes for now, so I aim to spend much less on clothes than the £1800+ that I spent on us all last year!

Anyway, hope you all have a great day,

    Tiddles xxx

    Morning everyone.

PP I'm sure you'll make it up with her soon.

JW panic attacks in the middle of the night don't sound good :(

BB, congratulations, sounds like you're doing well :D

Tiddles, well done on cutting the clothes bill. I seem to be spending a fortune now DS has turned 12 and is growing like a weed :(

Just trying to empty some boxes of rubbish this morning. I'm getting so fed up with my catalogue company not coming to pick this faulty tv up. It's been three weeks now and I'm tired of a 32" tv taking up a third of my living room. I know I can't get it properly clean and tidy and it is really discouraging me from even attempting housework. :( I've threatened them with it going out in the garden if they don't collect it this week.
