Blend it? With what?
I'm a BLOKE!If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

I may not post on here at all - but I do read everyday!
Frizz...... thanks for saying that to Queenie.
I meant to say something but haven't been on MSE much lately. Have had 'other' things on my mind.
Queenie......You've been missed a lot. 0/S not the same without you.0 -

A potato masher? :rotfl: You've not seen my kitchen, have you? I've got a fork somewhere...
I suspect it'll turn into soup when I reheat it, but it won't stop me eating it, I put too much work into it.If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
Oh look at this, we are soooo popular these days...over 80 posts! They say the best parties are in the kitchen. We even have our own stripper....ha ha Moggins, I'm sorry, but that made me laugh so loudly!! If the neighbour's window doesn't have a curtain, then perhaps they like the view??!!
Today...hmmm, a Monday just like most of the other Mondays I have ever had. Big bad four letter word coming.....w.o.r.k. Ugh. Boss was being a dippy mare - she has a habit of standing at my shoulder just staring at what I am doing. Another favourite of hers is to take things from my desk when I'm not there. Drives me barmy. She's alright really, don't think she's actually evil, but is somewhat lacking in assertiveness skills. So her standing around lurking is her wanting to get attention (I often don't notice she's there and get a fright when I suddenly realise there is a bod in my space), while the taking stuff when I am not there is because it's easier than speaking to me. We still have the silly cow in the office who doesn't speak to me. Have given up caring on that one. So just a normal day at the coalface really.
This evening I have college - it's English Literature. Am looking forward to it - I get to read books and then get a lovely qualification (A Level) to confirm that I really did read them. Wonderful!
B = toast and big mug of tea
L = sandwich made out of bread (yeah no way!) and some cold cooked mince (twas all I could find at the time)
D = have just stuffed a packet of crisps down my neck. I am such a disgrace, no wonder so few of my clothes fit.
Snacks = two biccies, two pears, some mandarin oranges, a slice of home made malt loaf and a MullerLight yoghurt. I will probably have more toast when I get home from college (around 9.45 pm). I eat far too much flipping bread I think. Will have to address this problem soon. I think the rest of you eat like little sparrows compared to me...
Ha ha! Ted the puddy cat has just removed my empty crisp packet from the bin and is munching on some crumbs which I missed. He loves crisps - he used to live in Tesco car park (he was rescued from there, suspect he was dumped) and think he developed some peculiar tastes while there. Today's delight is McCoy's cheese and onion and he's having a fab time with the bag.
Right gotta go and do some learning!
Cheerio everyone!

MATH-*****Certificate For Not Using Your Tumble Drier!I present this certificate to MATH of MSE for NOT using his Tumble Drier today.Awarded from the school of Penny-Pinching!!*****
Washing-drying on airer/MATH. DW on. Just had dinner (fish, roast spuds and peas-weird concoction I know!) and kitchen all tidied. Floors swept. Managed to tidy out me unit drawers too and file some paperwork. Updated all money files and did my last BT till debt is all paid up:T
DD had to be taken back to school as still not well and they have given antibiotics for a gland infection and GP suggested that she stay at home till wednesday at least:eek: NNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
OH made £30 today fixing a friends computer, then he wasted £3 in the bakery on cakesit seems to burn a hole in his pocket. Wouldnt mind but the cakes are huge and probably wont get all eaten anyway:mad: Never mind! Also, he popped in local Tescos and got some things we needed for the week, used some vouchers and cost us £5.50 so far this week and shouldnt need much more as we have alot in.
Anyway, best go as DD needs a bath and if I dont kick her up the !!!!!! she wont do it.
Have a good evening.

Need to put some washing on now and must get on with sorting out paperwork.
Dinner is flan, beans and waffles need to get that on too but wanted to catch up on here too.

So many funny posts today! I've giggled most of the way through reading the thread.
Funky Fairy hope your DS is okay and will be better very soon! There are a lot of viruses around at the moment. It's so frightening when litt'uns are ill, but they seem to bounce back quickly as a rule, so hope your DS will be the same. (((((HUG)))))
PP Sorry your DD is still ill too - at least she's got the antibiotics now so hopefully she will start to feel better quite quickly. As for you - poor girl, you must be so sick of being poked and prodded about! At least it's in the best possible cause, they are trying to help you get better. (((((HUG)))))
TM How frustrating to get the letter about the Attendance Allowance overpayment after so long! I can tell you why it took so long ,though, as I used to deal with benefit overpayments at my local benefit office before the DWP decided to centralise it all into a few big "Debt Management Centres". The trouble is that the people dealing with the Attendance Allowance have to calculate the amount of any overpayment that happens (as well as dealing with their other work) and then they have to send it to a Debt Management Centre, where there will probably be a backlog of work (hence your long wait), and someone there checks it to make sure that (a) there has actually been an overpayment, and (b) the amount is correct. That gets checked by a supervisor, and only then can they write to you about it.
Best wishes to everyone
