Hey everyone
not been on here for a few days, would love to say i've been busy, but i've just been doing a lot of sleeping, lots of time in various pubs and lots of time on the beach.
But, lectures start again today, 5 hours today  and yes i realise that all of you have much busier days than that, with work and kids...but for me this is a big shock! well, at least i get tuesdays and fridays off :T
breakfast/lunch - due to the times of my lectures, im only having 2 meals, v early lunch / late breakfast, and tea...so, cereal for brunch
tea - pasta bake with veg
kitchen also needs a damn good clean, vinegar at the ready!
have a good day all

Never used this site before, very chatty, do you all know each other?
I am going to have times on my hands as I have just retired from fostering. It is very weird with no children in the house, just me and my faithful friend my dog BJ who is a bischon frise(french water dog poodle type). Had my youngest grandchild to stay with me overnight on Saturday, she comes every week, she is 5 years old and very good company.
Today I have had
Breakfast Oats so simple
Lunch will be salmon salad
Dinner bubble & Squeak with a sausage and egg
Hope I dont gain too much weight now I am not running around after the children all day!
I am thinking about getting mobile again and buying a used car, I havnt driven for 5 years so Im a bit nervous about making the decision, what do you think- should I go for it- or forget it after all in April all buses will be free!
Will tune in here on a daily basis from now on.
I cant believe it , Im FREE Im FREE lol:hello: Welcome renegade!!! :hello:
Welcome to Old StyleGreat user name
No, we don't all know each other, but, we all get to know about each other
 Oooh Happy 5th Birthday to your Granddaughter
On the car front - if you get free bus travel from April, you may want to have a serious think about whether you really need the *expense* of a car. No one care really advise you on it, because only you know if you could afford it or not
catowen - I'm on my way ... decaff coffee, white, no sugar .. I'll bring the cakes
freya - if you fell asleep on the sofa, it was because you *needed* that far more than standing in a kitchen making sarnies(puts OS head on, again: you could of course make up sandwiches a week in advance and freeze them
)
LOL @ Bargain!!!! Now I know why my instinct told me to log back in :T :T :T A hearty chuckle really is great medicine

holstar - ((hugs)) yes, it can be a shock to the system. Makes no difference how others spend their days/time, 5hrs in lectures is f.i.v.e.l.o.n.g.h.o.u.r.s
Methinks the first couple fo Tuesday and Fridays may be recovery time initiallyTake care! x

scuzz - is your boss called Scrooge by any chance? Do you think he'd give you time off for your own funeral? (probably not by the sounds of it) Do take care! Health is immensely important. ((hugs))
He should be called Scrooge. I'm looking forward to April when I'll be allowed to take holiday. We've got no cover until thenComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -
