  • Morning everyone

Oh is off to London later on today for 4 days so not really too happy today but hopefully the time will pass quickly. All children at school today even tho DS was complaining of tummy ache. Got to put the BM on in a minute and do some ironing. Bit of a quiet day for me today.

    B - cereal
    L - wrap
D - jacket potato and beans

Hope everyone has a good day
    Liz

    Morning to you all.
Never used this site before, very chatty, do you all know each other?
I am going to have times on my hands as I have just retired from fostering. It is very weird with no children in the house, just me and my faithful friend my dog BJ who is a bischon frise(french water dog poodle type). Had my youngest grandchild to stay with me overnight on Saturday, she comes every week, she is 5 years old and very good company.
    Today I have had

    Breakfast Oats so simple
    Lunch will be salmon salad
Dinner bubble & Squeak with a sausage and egg

Hope I dont gain too much weight now I am not running around after the children all day!
I am thinking about getting mobile again and buying a used car, I havnt driven for 5 years so Im a bit nervous about making the decision, what do you think- should I go for it- or forget it after all in April all buses will be free!

Will tune in here on a daily basis from now on.

I cant believe it , Im FREE Im FREE lol

Oh one other thing I forgot to mention - a mate of mine is going to be on the "Richard Hammond" (I think that's his name) show at 5pm this evening with her dd, Holly. As I don't even know what side that's on, I s'pose I ought to go google for a tv listing! LOL!

freya - ((hugs)) I know this is probably old advice and not timely for this morning - but seriously, if you make the packed lunches the night before - it can save you time in the mornings and help make it less stressful. Hope your day improves.

LOL @ moggins! In the house where I grew up, our bathroom/landing/front study were in direct line with opposite neighbour's bathroom/landing. I remember one morning when I was in my late teens, my mum came out of the bathroom (wearing dressing gown) and happened to look out of the window, and there in the doorway of his bathroom was him-across-the-road. NOT wearing a dressing gown.

"A fine figure of a man", apparently, according to my mum :D

The only trouble was that I knew him quite well (used to babysit for his kids in fact, and could never look at him the same way ever again :D:o
