    Evening all,

I've been relegated to the laptop this evening as DH is busy beating up something/someone on his new game (well new to him anyway)

Been having a few "hormonal" issues with both DD's this week - they've both started to get very spotty and smelly around my cycle.....but the moods they're both in are horrendus. Had the eldest screaming that "she hates her life" last night....doesn't make for happy parenting....but hey ho..worse to come I expect.

Went off to a local play centre to vent some pent up energy this morning as it was sooooo cold again. Took our own drinks and fruit so saved a bit. Popped into mothers on the way home, they move tomorrow, from the house I moved to when I was 4....lots of memories but it's time for them to move on.

DH cooked a wonderful pot roast beef in the SC with all the trimmings, I enjoy him cooking at weekends. I tried my hand at some chocolate muffins - they turned out great.

    Hugs to all

    Welcome to old style

I really hope that you cannot visualise what my house looks like as it is a tip!
dd is the only person who ever cleans and is very unappreciated!!! (typed by darling daughter.)

Will make her home made pizza tomorrow and see if that cheers her up.

Have just polished 9 pairs of shoe but do not suppose that counts as work.

Jw1096, after reading the lemon curd thread last night on here I went and made some, tastes maybe a little too buttery for my liking but was really nice! Easy to make too. Hope things settle for you with your bf. Go on strike, Sometimes that works!

Hi Yall, I'm knickered! Up and on the road for 7am and off to our coast-home to make sure everything is ok and take a load of linen I'd bought back to clean. Still nursing a heavy cold so I'm feeling a bit rough now and think I will have a long bath and an early night.

Before I closed the place up for the winter a friend told me to leave a bowl of salt in every room to stop dampness. I did it but wasn't convinced it would do anything. I was amazed when I checked today - the bowls were swimming with water:eek: Little tip there for caravans, chalets or rooms you don't use.

Mrs MATH and I had a barny (par for the course these days:rolleyes: ) headed for the promenade and walked 2 miles in opposite directions:D (boy the sea air was bracing. There was quad bike racing on the beach which was good to watch until frost bite set in) After that we met up with some friends we havn't seen for a few months and attended a cheese and wine buffet (as ya do). Diet points are reading like the euro lottery jackpot so gotta knuckle down tomorrow. How many calories are there in DUST (not that there is any at Chez MATH of course)

Mini MATHLETT cried all the way home chanting his usual mantra "I wanna stay - I miss Sandy" Sandy is the house name on account of it being by the sea. Yeh I know - Enid Blyton's got nothin gon the MATH'S when it comes to imagination.

PP Yey-a good nights sleep for the voucher vulcher. Congrats on ya earnings BTW

Kiwi Hope Mr KIWI is ok. I've heard of exteem ironing but crisis baking is a new one on me:D

JW1096 (sympathy) Remember they can't do ya for it if they can't find the body:eek:

Our Graham Great news (read JW1096's post tho before jumping in;) ) seriously - good luck (I've put a down payment down on a new hat):D

Potty Trainers My tips for fool proof potty traininf was to take one child, one potty and a very strong roll of duck tape:eek: It worked for my three :D (this is a joke before anyone reports me to Esther Rancid):o

    Catch yall tomorrow

    Luv MATH x

    I am so wicked!

Tesco was still open as I came past on my way home icon7.gif

So... plans for HM vegetable & lentil soup and HM bread shelved until tomorrow, instead indulged in Tesco's Finest mustard mash with onions, honey glazed parsnips, savoy cabbage, veggie sausages and an assortment of beans, carrots etc with yorkies out of the freezer. Oh, and packet gravy. It was fantastic!

Dare I show my face on here again? icon10.gif Will be good tomorrow, I promise icon12.gif
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D

Have just got back from the yearly stocktake at work. Normally a good moneymaker as it is time and a half for overtime and time and a half for a sunday. But we have an overtime ban until the new financial year. They normally find lots of out of date goodies as well to take home but none this year. :( Overtime is allowed from next week though. :D I did get a free sandwich though. :j

Made some muffins for the first time yesterday to bring into work today. But my family ate them all by bedtime yesterday. Never mind I'll have to keep making some more. ;) I followed the recipe on the muffin case box, so I am looking forward to finding more. Going to do the Banana Muffin recipe in the index next?

Am very happy ATM as I have made £40 in cash, £20 worth of piggy points and £12.50 in rpoints so far from gambling. :shhh: :silenced: Looking forward to next weekend... I have also started doing the recurring points on the cashback sites as well. Need all the money I can get at the moment as I am planning on leaving my job in April and would like a nice cushion to fall back on.

    Take care everyone xxx

Hun with the hours you are working at the moment I think you deserve all the wonderful convienience food you can get. Roll on Tues at midnight - we might get to see you a bit more:j

For me today has been very non old style and then very old style.....

I woke up this morning in a very nice hotel after a rather wonderful Christmas (????) ball in Cardiff.

As I know you would all expect - I made sure that I got my MSE share of the free wine and food (ouch) and as we couldnt take any away it all had to be stored in my tummy. So this morning felt a little under the weather - (are there any bugs going around :D ) Anyway felt much better after a big fat hotel brekky and then came home. (after of course a couple of hours work out in the gym  ) So then there I was at home thinking of anything but OS apart from chatting to a couple of them on MSN when...................disaster my power goes off...............................So now I can honestly say that starting at 6ish tonight and going on till about 10 I was more OS than most people on this thread (:j thatll be a first and a last probably:j )

By candle power alone my neighbour and I sat in coats (heating off) - missed all of the tv programmes I wanted to watch - must have appeared very rude to my MSN friends for my abrupt departure - couldnt read - couldnt quilt - couldnt knit - couldnt scrapbook - couldnt make cards for next Christmas.........................................(Ok Ok so I wouldnt have done the last 4 ever anyway but its strange how you miss things when you cant do em!..............:D ) So what did we do??????? We just chatted..................was it wonderful and grounding?...................Nah give me telly anyday!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (just joking - I think............the bottle of wine we drunk helped the discussion subjects I suppose!!) So now my leccy is back on and i am realising how i missed electicity so very very much. I loved chatting to my mate tonight but imagine having to do that every night with none of the luxuries we all enjoy thanks to electricity. So there we are ........my day started as a polar opposite to anything old style and ended being more old style than most!!.............................anyone know where to buy some cheap candles most of mine went tonight;)

Night all and hope you all get a good nights rest tonight
